Apparently those who lose their paid seats for these monsters don’t get refunds. I double checked too, people with real disabilities don’t get free seats! We need to make a petition like she did AND TAKE THIS THING DOWN!
So I'm disabled, and I do need things like shower and bathtub grab bars, shower seating, handheld shower heads, wheelchairs if I'll be at an event, a rolling walker if I'm going out in public... but I think the biggest difference is that I didn't *expect* those things the second I became disabled. I got the things I needed, and I request for them if I have to stay elsewhere, and then make do if that isn't able to be accommodated. It's not about what these people are asking for at all. It's the attitude that comes along with it, really. And that attitude is absolute shit!!
underweight restrictive ED people still struggle to accept that they're valid because they're not "skinny enough" and then there are obese people that want to be recognized as anorexic by yelling it and not restricting at all

20:06 Pool lifts are real!! Basically their little chairs attached to a machanic arm, someone who is handicapped and cant swim/walk into the pool can then sit in those chairs and activate the arm which then lowers them into the pool. The chairs are usually small and have a weight limit so idk how this lady would use one 💀
Ok I have a story. So, I fucked up my metabolism due to ED (I had bulimia and compulsive overeating for a long time). I gained a remission but one day I understood that I weigh 80kgs. My normal weight is 58-63kgs. And I was like WTF GIRL. I'm trying to eat a lot of proteins, workout, eat rather healthy food, even though it's very difficult for me. I also have a lot of health issues(esp with thyroid) that make it more difficult. And I'm so concerned about this people who will probably die young because they have no willpower and believe that everything is fine with their body. Yes, it is very difficult to accept that you are fat. Yes, it is very difficult to stop overeating when you have mental illness. But it's very important...

It’s ok to be fat to a certain extent. If it’s something out of your control, it’s fine. But if you’re actively inhaling 704 donuts per day, that’s a problem.
this influencers are like "i weight over 400 pounds and im healthy" and in one of their videos they cry about how hard for them is no walk through plane to take their sit without carrying from personal
Same, I’m not the skinniest, but I’m trying to work out and lose weight before school starts again and I will continue to lose weight during school, and even during this video I got so grossed out and cringed at so many parts. Ngl the fat acceptance community is weird, plus they don’t even understand the meaning. Fat acceptance is like when a fat person is trying to lose weight and become healthy so people support them, it’s not a fat person becoming fatter and expecting people to continue supporting them… like what?
im chubby too its fine to be chubby and healthy (which is a thing) but being over 250 pounds is unhealthy no matter what. everyone has different bodies but no one can be healthy at that weight. i work at a medical job patients can be 230 or 99 pounds and are in perfect condition,or 150 and super unhealthy. its a mix of ur habits, genetics, and medications or possible things that cause confliction with weight. just do ur research and take care of yourself and love your health.
So, let me get this straught with the current knowledge I have on hand. The tagline is everyBODY, which probably includes thin and fit people too. Yet, when we say we wanna keep in shape, we are fatphobic? My mind's gonna blow up.
People do shame people for being skinny actually, I wouldn't consider myself skinny personally, but my sister gets really mad and says horrible things to me because I'm 'skinny'
I don’t agree with them but that’s the exact opposite of their logic, they're saying everyone should pay the same amount regardless if they take three seats or a half of a seat.

the clip at 13:48 is so stupid It's like saying "Is it homophobic to like women" And then the answer is "No, unless you exclude the large group of people (men) from your attraction."
That’s hella relatable. I’m 119 lbs at almost 18 for a 5’2 girl. And that’s recent as hell, it was 100 max only a couple months ago. People tell me alot I need to eat more..i do LOL
U have high metabolism. I did too and when I turned 32 I started gaining fast and now have to watch what I eat. People constantly thought I was starving myself lol I ate all the time tho. It will change one day tho, I promise.
I got bullied for being 'fat' (not really FAT fat but rather chubby), and although it's due to genes, medical issues and trauma, people still think it's only because I eat like 9 Big Macs or something (I eat less than one meal a day). Yet there's people in the supermarket that think I'm the fattest person alive because I bought god damn bread from the supermarket and hear them laughing at me. Also can't afford to get help from diet experts or a clinic for obesity because it's hella expensive (due to depression and stuff it's extremely hard to consequently train and do sports). Why are people so toxic man, and why are fat people shaming other fat people (like that one lady who gave me the stink eye for wearing a dress??). People need to chill out
the thing is that like 46 or 56% of adults in us are at least overweight, you are tiny fraction of 1% , and even biology has much to say , your body cant produce fat from thin air and will use fat to power your body to operate , that's how one guy managed to starve for over a year! it's really depends on how much and what you eat and what you do with your body, being severely or morbidly obese is not ok with any living being
@@moriyamakyon1067 Yeah that's true sadly, it just sucks having to look at what u eat bc healthy food is also spooky expensive nowadays. Thankfully I did manage to lose some weight and I can run and walk and move just fine 👌
@@Izie98 spooky expensive? fresh vegetables are cheap, pita bread too. Just do a salad and wrap it in pita, it takes like 1-3 minutes , you can add anything like meat, honey, nuts etc. Excuses about "not enough time" are really weak, before i learned how to cook my mom years ago (hello 2008 with global financial crisis) worked for like 12 hours a day with 1.5 hour ride in one way managed to do all of that. Things that do worse is pre processed food and insane amounts of sugar and corn syrup in it (in case of US) But main thing is that most people don't do anything about it like ones in video, it becomes impossible if you consume insane amount's of unhealthy food and don't move at all
One thing I never understood is why people automatically think there's only two body types: skinny and obese So are we just going to forget about people who are in-between 💀
Tbf plus size can mean anything that needs a larger size than a uk 12. So tall people or healthy people who just naturally carry more weight in a certain area(like their chest) meaning they have to get a bigger size all count.
as someone who weighs >400 lbs, this movement is stupid. There should be no reason to accommodate us because were lazy. I'm actively trying to lose weight because i don't want to interrupt the normal flow of travel and these people think it's ok? I genuinely think we need a hard reset on the human brain.
We have pool lifts in most of our local pools, so they are a thing and quite common at least where I live. They are primarily used for people with mobility issues so that those who can’t use the stairs or pool ladder can still swim 🏊♀️. Swimming is an amazing recovery exercise as it’s gentle on the body and adaptable in how vigorous it is, which is why I’m kinda in agreement with her that most public pools should have them, as they can be an amazing tool to people with mobility issues, injury, or other issues that would benefit from them swimming.
The part where she talked about not needing strollers and wheelchairs is actually really unnecessary and uncomfortable because I struggle with standing/walking for too long or I'll faint, it just makes my skin crawl idk why im js sensitive. I also think the skinny and exercise=fatphobic is dumb because some people have medical issues about weight where you can't gain weight as much as you eat.

They don't own mirrors.
They know they're not attractive. That's why they go through so much trouble to hype their "confidence".

Late comment but I do agree. I think they should be in all pools for people who need them, not just for fat people.
