Ahh nothing beats riding a horse at full gallop the tail mane flying in the wind the hooves thundering across the land and feeling wild and free and nothing can hold you back as you're feeling free riding your faithful and loyal steed.
I started horse riding today and I already like it. Although I have to concentrate on my horse, my body, I try everything to learn sufficiently. My trainer helps me a lot.
The bond between Horse and Rider can be incredibly Strong, it takes Time and Effort, but it surely is worth it. (I just want to be able to experience Contact with Horses)
Cool horse, cool song, cool video. I rode a horse fast once… but it wasn’t at my behest. The thing belonged to my cousin and it was very prone to be “herd bound “. I was lounging in the saddle while my cousins wife tightened the cinch on her saddle and my steed did an instant 180 and was at top speed in about 4 seconds flat. I could not regain control; he did a sharp 90deg turn into some 1-2” poplar trees and they went right between my legs and his belly. We made it to the yard and I remembered the words of caution that my cousins wife had given me. If he takes off on you rein him in circles until he stops… so as we galloped full speed into the backyard I cranked those freaking reins hard left and wheeled him in two tight circles ( I might have managed to rein him in slightly before I pulled the donuts ). The horse stopped. Everyone including me was laughing so hard we could barely breath… good times!!

I agree with you but for me as long that you have a bond with your horse, and you can discover the world with his kind of perpective, it's about freedom
