I'm used to mpc work flow.... Been using mpc since the mid nineties.... I want to get one of these, but I am worried about learning how to do shit all over again... There are things that I like about this thing, and there are some things that I'm not looking forward to..... I'm going to be comparing the mk3 to the new mpc live, and see which one would make the most sense for my work flow. The mpc is just the best sequencer ever, it's hard to switch. Great video tho!

Thank you. Yeah you can do this on the mikro as well. I dont know how because i dont have one. But If you select a pad you can press sampling and navigate to the intern sampling mode. Select the output of the pad you want to record and Click on record. For color i like to use the soundtoys bundle. Decapitator, echoboy etc.
Real Maschine workflow, being patient with patience expansion mod. Nice tune, would be interested to see you rock up a tune all programmed to the 9th's, some D&B/Dubstep/Trap tech.. polyrhythms 64 step tightnuts, beeps, bass & snappy quantization ;)

When you’re recording the real time output audio for the video are you recording into a interface and then running that or external source like a field mic? Tell me your ways. 😂
+David Bley , what was your creative reasoning/process for creating your melody with the mallets, and then resampling it, and chopping it differently? I can speculate as to why you'd want to do that, but I also would love to hear your input on your reasoning and how it helps your creative process.
I do this everytime to come with different ideas with the same Input. Sometimes it sounds better after chopping it up. Sometimes i use ist for a B-Section etc. ...

Especially with all the DAW's and what to use etc. And knowing if it's possible to do everything from the maschine/Komplete software or need another daw, etc. Every video I've seen just confuses me more.Anyways , love your beats man, keep killing it!

I found out that re-sampling the arpeggiator function and Sunburst, etc takes the load off CPU. No clicking... To a point

The MK3 has an interface built in. You can sample directly from Maschine itself, pretty cool feature.
