i hope jim remembers us were thornhill engineering we built his chassis suspension roll bar for the cockpit and much more in that lil fab shop it was a pleasure being a kid learning on your car just like scott bailey thanks for leaving me a lifetime of awesome i learned so much from my uncle (dave thornhill) and from you jim about what owning a race car REALLY is....hard work dedication and perseverance...thank you "old guys" for helping me be the 28 year old car loving guy i am buy the way im lil mikey jr you know who i am jim....miss those days
Good tech talk. Not many people outside of the racers (crew, engine builder and more, as well as the drivers) understand how very much of a dragster works. In fact, I have a question about the "black smoke" at launch.
Aircraft engines have had big crankcase breather tube for at least 80 years, and Oil separators when operations warrant.
