Awesome band and the lead vocals are amazing can't tell the difference from the original and she is in my opinion top two or three female vocalist, very impressed.
I just saw this--- seen Heart many times from the late 70's to 2000's. If I close my eyes, this is so close to Ann/Nancy, in fact I wouldn't know it was a cover. Great job, your vocal range is great!
Thank you for coming to that show - we really had a great time doing that and wanted to come back, but we heard that there are so many tributes wanting to play there that the manager that books the room says he could go for years without returns for anyone. :(
Thanks to everyone for your posts and kind, positive words. In regards to a few rather rude comments about hair: Our band members perform both Heart and Fleetwood Mac tribute shows nationally (heartaliverocks.com and fleetwoodnicks.com) Our lead singer for Heart Alive could have dyed her hair dark brown and all would be great-- However, then she would have to wear a blonde wig for her part as Christine McVie in our Fleetwood Mac show---so either way--she would have to wear a wig in one of the bands. This particular show/video, we performed (2) 75 minute sets of Heart. As you can imagine, singing Ann Wilson for almost 3 hours is not only a challenge vocally, but under the lights you might sweat a little after belting out 16 songs a set? I can guarantee anyone singing that much material under the stage lighting that a national venue provides would be drenched--hair included. Perhaps the comments then would be "didn't she wash her hair before the show?" lol I have to say it really is sad when people focus more on looks than on the musicianship and talent of the band. I have seen tribute bands that have a great promo package and look like the artists etc etc -but performing live they suck. I feel sorry for the audience who has to sit through a show like that when they were fooled by a pretty package. Also in regards to the person who said no one can sing Ann Wilson: Well no one can sing just like Ann Wilson this is true. However it's a sad mindset to think that no one should perform and pay tribute to an artist when they do a respectable job and please an entire audience with their performance. Remember there are many people who never get to see the original artist live in concert whether it's because of demographics or financial reasons or whatever---and when they come to see a tribute show it's very special for them. We have had many people come up to us thanking us because they lived in an area that the artists never came around live in concert and it brought back many memories for them to experience the music in a live show. Anyway, thanks to everyone for your kind posts and for checking out our tribute shows!
You guys are very talented and very good at the tribute performance everybody is a critic especially the non talented ones and the ones that never performed on stage keep up the great work.
The giveaway that she was singing and not synching is the way Ann enunciates floor in this song. Gonna have to listen to the rest of your songs now. AWESOME.
Um is she wearing a wig or something.... The performance is great but I can't focus that much because of her hair. Is she ok? Where does her hair so discombobulated?
