    Great work. Good setup on the eccentric shaft and it was lovely to see the old shaper in action. Western people who make fun of these machinists have obviously never owned a lathe before! Nothing at all wrong with their skills. Remember they are doing the work as fast as possible - speed = money! Yes I am far more accurate in the work I do - but for me it is just a hobby - I could never earn money at it!

    I have "just" "one" concern: The guys did not pre-lubricated the shaft when they insert-it into the block-thing-box 😭☠️

    often times close enough is good enough.
    Also; you don't need to have the best tools to do good work !

      @@Чертёнок13-й7б Нахрена их мазать? я тоже собираю немазанные. Тем более на улице. Грязи наберешь, потом опять разбирать? Соберут, про-шприцуют, смазка вытолкнет всю грязь, если такая там попала.

      My guess is Pakistan. The guy has the Pakistani flag on his bike at 1:28, as well as an image of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of independent Pakistan.

      @@horstmuller7512 I thought you were joking.. How the hell, would this be in the UK? This is obviously in a developing country. No civilized country would let a machine shop operate with such safety standards. There is sand everywhere, and the outlets on the walls aren't UK standard. They are not even speaking English. I was guessing India or Pakistan, but no Indian in their right mind would be flying a Pakistani flag.

    I really hate it when they do all the hard work and dont clean the product they make. They should clean and polish the entire crusher before they give it back ... look at the bearing covers... full of grime and dirt... why not clean it ???

      An old British or American probably shaper. Very old fashioned but very popular still. Great for keyways etc. ABOM and plenty of other RUclipsrs have a love affair with shapers!

      You don't really need coolant when using carbide tools. I only use it for parting off and drilling these days. Chips a nice blue colour coming off.
