That Glen Stires Racing (please forgive spelling) "GSR" team seems to own half the cars in the field, lol. Whoever the guy driving the GSR #4 (i think) a black Dodge, Monday night, that guy's a wheelman! He made that black Dodge look good.
Glenn Styres. He owns the racetrack they're running (Oshweken) He also has multiple different vehicles in multiple different classes. From dirt to asphalt. (Obv including pintys) He also owns a full blown race shop that does a whole lot based around dirt sprint, 360/ crates etc. Dudes a local legend.
Murdock's crash @1:40:08 the replay clearly shows another car forced Murdock into the wall. By the grace of God he wasn't killed. They don't race sprint cars around here where i learned to race, (Alabama,USA) but i rwould think ANYWHERE, the victim (Murdock) needs to have a "chat" with the other driver, to promise him a "ride" a trip over the wall (out of the track) soon. And KEEP that promise.
Yeah no. Probably the dumbest comment I've seen on an incident in a while. "That guy could have been killed in that wreck, he should go threaten the other guy and then wreck him even bigger!" is some of the dumbest logic I have ever heard, and exactly the kind of trash that makes people think dirt racing is the Jerry Springer show of motorsports. If that's really what you think the best solution is, then it's scary to think that you "learned to race" and might actually be sharing the track with people.
That sprint car flip really was nasty. It’s tough when you get shunted into the wall like that.
