The problem with my 1998 LeSabre is that the fan continues to run even with the key off.It has been diagnosed with a faulty control switch that is stuck in the on mode. The fix is well over $600 and I am hoping that someone may know of a simpler solution. As of now,I have to raise the hood and pull the a/c fuse whenever I turn off the engine, and reinsert the 30 amp fuse after I restart the engine.Any simple diy hacks would be greatly appreciated.

How about a relay in line with the fuse. Let the relay be triggered with the ignition
