I really hope Doug Bowser builds a persona at Nintendo. We loved Reggie because he was fun and sincere. He wasn't afraid to get goofy or make time for skits. He regularly demonstrated how he cared about the fans. While I'm not expecting Doug to be Reggie v2, I am at least hoping that he will try and build a persona. All he needs to do is show us that he likes to have a little fun as Reggie did.

A wonderful video and tribute to a wonderful leader and icon. As a 20-year old whose gaming life started with the DS and Wii, Reggie was there from the moment I got more involved in the online Nintendo world, and I have so many fond memories of watching presentations and videos with him in them. Who can forget the Reggie-Iwata fight that revealed the Miis for Smash? I jumped and screamed at that. And during every single presentation I watched with a very close friend and fellow Nintendo-fan, we would literally scream out his name whenever he appeared on screen. I will miss him, but I am very thankful for the amazing work he's done for Nintendo and the industry as a whole. Also, DYKG, I really love these videos. I think it's really lovely to see tribute videos to the lives and careers of industry figures. Keep up the great work with them!

He definitely helped Nintendo in staying up with the competition simply on the way he would communicate with others, hopefully Bowser can live up to what Reggie managed to accomplish and keep it going.
I wish luck to Doug Bowser as well that he can be within range of Reggie's marketing skills.

He should've worked at Pizza Hut more. That way, he could've used the power of Pizza Time to stop Bowser from taking over Nintendo and forcing the staff to collect Power Stars.

I can't think of any other CEO of a huge multinational company that could cause such an outcry of sadness and respect when they retired.
Big shoes to fill to replace him, but I have warmed to Doug Bowser from what I've seen of him - he's not Reggie, but that's sort of the whole point.
The corporate world in general could use more people like The Reginator.

Nintendo looks very silent after Reggie left
A wonderful video and tribute to a wonderful leader and icon. As a 20-year old whose gaming life started with the DS and Wii, Reggie was there from the moment I got more involved in the online Nintendo world, and I have so many fond memories of watching presentations and videos with him in them. Who can forget the Reggie-Iwata fight that revealed the Miis for Smash? I jumped and screamed at that. And during every single presentation I watched with a very close friend and fellow Nintendo-fan, we would literally scream out his name whenever he appeared on screen. I will miss him, but I am very thankful for the amazing work he's done for Nintendo and the industry as a whole.
Also, DYKG, I really love these videos. I think it's really lovely to see tribute videos to the lives and careers of industry figures. Keep up the great work with them!
Reggie is like a father to gamers a nice dad who would play games with you as he smiles enjoying it.
You forgot one: "Did you know that Reggie Fils-Aime, despite having Waluigi as his favorite tennis player to use in Mario Tennis for the Nintendo Switch, did not try to coax Masahiro Sakurai into adding Waluigi in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate as a playable fighter?"
