This show was awesome man! They need to bring it back! Especially with all the new innovations and cars in the times in which we are living, the automotive industry has come a super long way since this show was cancelled in 2008... This was a top tier show. I wonder why they cancelled it, whoever thought of this show is brilliant. It's intense, spicy and entertaining!

Always bring way more is what I learned very early on. Like the second episode it was clear if they said 12.50 bring a 10 second car
Electronic boost control plus a scramble button. Change performance as needed between passes.
Some require laptops, others can have stored profiles and switch on the fly. Then scramble for even more boost (only works for a second or so).

@@DK_tk3 Obviously, but electronic controllers existed as far back as 1997 with Turbosmart anyways.
Not quite what we have today, but still it was possible. A few such racers actually had boost controllers and abused tuning between races. You can even find a few where Rich tells a racer to change his tune to slow it down. It took them less than a couple minutes and a laptop.

The issue isn’t 10.5 I’d rather watch two cars that both run high 12s then see two cars clearly not close to eachother. That’s mustang was always faster than the Camaro.

Probably high 9s low 10s but this was also nearly 20 years ago so they probably were a bit slower than we expect small block turbo cars we see today
