New Independent MiD* trucks feature a lower profile hanger for optimal contact point angle on your nose and tail for flip tricks, ledges, and all-around street skating with a recommended wheel size of 53mm and under.
The newly designed and first ever Independent inverted kingpin can be used with either a 5.5mm Allen key or standard 9/16" hex wrench. The innovative new Shaft Nut in the baseplate creates a rigid and durable solution to lateral movement found in most inverted kingpin designs and increases adjustability.
The new MiD* is 52mm tall and built on Independent's legendary geometry with full size cushions for maximum turning action and comes in 129, 139, 144, 149, 159 sizes.
The all new design includes new size designations underneath the hanger for easy identification.

At long last 52mm mids....as a stage 9/x rider....i tried the stage XI high with no bottom washer....no bottom washder+conicals but it wasnt the feel/response/turn i wanted. I tried venture 6.1s with stock a second pair with bones hards...you even push out various bushing stiffness and conicals...and you HAD me looking at running ACES with a stock 91a top bushing and a 94a bottom from their HARD pack....bc my Favorite set of trucks are 159 stage X standards with a 94a bottom conical, and 92a top conical indy bushings. I was "THIS" close to buying that setup...."ONLY" ace never made the 60...and around when the mids from indy LAUNCHED the Ace AF1 60 also came around. I like the bolt/nut flush its the "tightness" i ride bc my bushings choose the turn/lean/tip limit and indys/conicals are my ideal turn/feel esp at high speeds. YET bc of the stage XI and conical bushing....ive spread my quiver's options to other brands....yall even made the 159 mids with the 6 hole plates How nice of you bc ive been interested in putting together a nice shaped board with some small/90s inspired wheels which the 159 mids would go with perfectly.

I got these yesterday, didn't see the vid til now but yeah, these trucks give absurd turn control. What he says about grinds is also true, I busted a crook down a hand rail no prob 20 min after putting them on

They are trying to phase out the cross quietly. I saw the comments and the lack of responses the last couple of years. Because they are removing the cross, I switched to aces after 30 years of skating. Plus, they are better for what i'm currently capable of

Ventures are also pretty damn good turning if you like a longer wheelbase, rode them for years. Now ride Stage 11 indys, pretty damn good as well.

I have bought this truck and wonder they have black bushings but is it still a 90A bushing?
I really get the most out of my Independent trucks replace the crappy soft yellow orange cheese looking stock bushings with POWELL hard-core bushings that have rebound and always return to center every time.
Too bad the bones bushings explode after 1 slappy

I dunno how y'all ride with those loose-ass bushings! 🤣 I'll put hard on the bottom and a Med one on top. But yeah...they do grind fairly smooth🛹🛹
they firm up after a break in. Just make sure not to crank them when new
man i’m skating thunders 151 rn and they’re so ass i was skating 159 standards before but i needed new trucks but the skateshop didn’t have them ima save up for some 159s tho bc i fucking love them so much
