These tutorials are great fun. I bought a diabolo on Tuesday and started this video yesterday. I’ve managed all the tricks apart from golden finger as my hands are too small. Magic knot took a few attempts as I kept throwing it in random directions so couldn’t catch it again. Got to learn multiple suns without getting in a tangle. Thank you for doing these tutorials.
When I first got my diabolo from a distant relative, the instructions on the package were unclear and confusing. I made a bat with my brother that between today, the 21, and Christmas, I would know and be able to do one trick. First 20 mins and I can throw it up an catch it. Thanks for teaching me and helping me get an easy 5 bucks 😊
Love the video! Sooo many new cool tricks I didn't knew before. But the next time please show how we can exit the tricks (for example the gunslinger). Thanks
If you're a total noob like me, it helps to put a piece of tape, or draw a mark on the diablo so you can have a better reference for the spin speed, :).

Note: This tutorial is for ball bearing diabolos. If you have a fixed axle diabolo like me. There are some tricks that probably won't work. The grind trick and the golden fingers trick. There will be simply way too much friction to keep the diabolo spinning. Most other tricks work fine you just have to keep the diabolo going more often... Yeah I need a bearing diabolo one day.
Here's a funny story of how I discovered Diabolos In my school it is a tradition that the sixth graders do one large musical that is played in front of most of the school by the end of the year. This year I am a sixth grader so I'm doing the musical. I was assigned the role of a circus clown (not a circus clown I just don't know the English word is). Our main teacher told us to practice juggling with balls until we could do 3 about 1 hour a day. We had about 3 months to practice it. No one practiced. Not a single person did that hour a day. And now last Tuesday our teachers were pretty mad at us. But that same day the main teacher took 2 Diabolos with him to school that day since he figured maybe some people could learn it. Pretty much all of us tried it and enjoyed it. And by the end of the day the teacher said that a few of us could get one home to practice with. And guess who got one home? Not me! My best friend and someone else got one. But it was such fun using that funky toy... I ask the teacher where I should buy one and in what price range would be good enough for a beginner. And a few days later I buy one! it took two days until it arrived. It arrived at a place about 1.3 kilometers away from my house. As soon as I saw it arrived on my phone I took everything out of my bag and went to get it. And in just about 20 minutes I had biked over there, gotten the package and returned home. That was two days ago now. I've been learning most tricks in this tutorial ever since. And I must admit. It's a crap ton of fun! So with no permission from my teacher currently I'm gonna practice this so I can use it in the musical. I may update this comment later to say that I might've gotten permission from my teacher, or how the musical went! So thanks a lot for making this amazing tutorial and inspiring many people! I have been using my diabolo for a couple weeks now. I have a fixed axel. I physically can't do the Golden finger. My diabolo immediately stops even if I balance it perfect. I'm saving up for a 3 bearing right now. Hopefully I can learn more tricks with that one.
The thing is when I’m trying to spin it up and it tilts. I do what you’re saying, but then it just flips and goes off of my strings. What do I do then?
Hello! I have a question. I have a Henry Free (I think it was) diabolo with a bearing that only spin one way. But it's not spinning at all really. When I just tested it with my finger it only moves when I'm touching it, it doesn't roll freely, which i would assume when it's bearings. I got to spin it only once when I did the loop around and really whipped it, but i don't think i can get it to spin normally. Is something wrong with the bearing? Should it be moving more? Or is it just a practice thing. But it doesn't spin and just instantly get tangled so I'm not sure what to do :/. Please offer some advice! Thank you for this video!
Ok so when I do the spider web I do it right put the stick through the hole all of that but when I try throw it up it just gets stuck on the strings and it doesn’t work
when attempting the gunslinger my diabolo always stops spining and or leans foward even when I give it speed do you know why? could you make a more detailed explination.
Before doing the gunslinger, make sure your diabolo and string are aligned properly. Go slow spinning at first. Sometimes the way you spin your finger could go out if place. Hope this helps

Bro i just don't get the spider web😢😢😢 cuz when i try it always slips after the second hop or gets tangled.
Practice without the diabolo spinning.
Also on the first throw, make sure the bottom string is low enough on the sticks so the diabolo clears it.
