I'll add my own comment because I want to know if you hear the fire crackling about 3/4ths of the way in? It's really a grounding issue with my ultra-cheap Glarry bass I purchased to do my own bass lines. I got what I paid for. Well, that crackling you hear is it burning in a trash pile after I chop this bass up in the backyard with a large axe.
