I am glad that you enjoyed your stay in Mexico so much, everyone talks about the bad parts of latam like unsafe places, dangers and poverty as if that doesn’t exist everywhere and like there’s nothing good there
as someone who is currently studying abroad and is from Latin America I miss my country every day, and even though I like where I am, there is no place warmer cozier and happier than home, specially if you’re from a Latin American country, I’m very happy you got to experience life there 😚

Guys I’m not even joking Mexico City is so beautiful and calm. Slow life living out there. Everything in her vlog is capturing the easy going atmosphere of the city. I went this past year for spring break w family and I plan on going back!
As a Mexican I absolutely hate it there, too much traffic, too much pollution, and too many femicides, just bad.

Mexico City is everything but calm. As a Mexican I can say that even though it’s a beautiful historic city, it’s very chaotic. People spend hours in the subway to get to work or school.

I was born in Phoenix AZ but my dad is from Chihuahua. I am ashamed to say that I've never been to Mexico or met any of my family over there. My dad never spoke much about them so I guess there was some personal issues he had with them. Out of all the cities I really want to visit is Mexico City because of its culture, art and because it started out as the capital of the Mexica (aka Aztecs). I want to visit the archeologist sites so bad, maybe one day.

Please don't use terms as "digital nomad", people who came to México, (aside of why they came or where did they came) are immigrants. People usually from USA avoid using that word on themselves or their pairs as if it was something bad, and those terms just make the gentrification bigger. Eitherway, I'm happy You enjoyed your visit and respected our culture.
Also! Bread and fruits/vegetables are way more tasty if You Buy them on mercados, verdulerías/fruterías and panaderías, the ones on the supermarket are not terrible, but they tent to be more expensive and flavorless,,

i don’t mean to intrude your video, but there’s a really big problem of gentrification in México. Even now locals are denied the entry to shops, cafeterias, and even the indigenous families are being kicked out their homes in Oaxaca. If you could help buying local crafts, paintings, food, you could possibly be saving entire families, and end this discrimination against our own people☹️ If you’re eating at a restaurant/café, it’s very important to check google reviews for possible racist businesses, since everyone is exposing this kind of treatment towards locals. Gentrification is a reason for locals to Hate irrationally tourists and we have to eradicate those practices that are as wrong as discrimination. People like to talk with no facts, if there is a city in the country where there are truly strict rules against discrimination is Mexico City. You just can’t come here and start talking based on i dont know what, you talk as if it’s a rule that locals are discriminated, totally wrong and it gives a false idea about my city, your city! Actually you hasn’t noticed that you are the one being discriminating, looking at local people like pure helpless persons that need compassion from others (and more if they are indigenous, you are sooo wrong)!. Contrary to that I see myself, other locals and tourists as well, as exactly the same, we all are humans, with good and bad things trying to make a living in this world. Check out your ways of thinking, the generalizations you make, the victimization of whom doesn’t need or want to be victimized like indigenous people, and all the wrong ideas that you are transmitting against tourists and locals as well. Meaning that your comments worths nothing and helps nothing at all. And unfortunately so many ppl think like you :( hope we the others can be more and transmit good things to locals and tourists.
I'd love to go to Mexico City one day. It looks like heaven to me - nice weather, kind people and food (OMG mangoes looked amazing, actually everything looked delucious). Even if i'm not living in Paris, as someone living in France I would recommend you to come to France during late october/early november because otherwise you would suffer from heat (this year it was still very hot at the beginning of october)
