Saber feels slightly off in F/SN but I quite like how dazed she gets, reverting to the little girl she used to be. But she feels COMPLETELY out of character in F/HA. And every hscene that related to HF is just really uncomfortable for me.
This was probably the only H scene that got replaced by something just as good if not better. No dragons, dolphins or other weird stuff, just some wholesome cuddling between a king and her queen.
Even though it was a meme in the anime I really enjoyed the dragon scene in fate route in realta nua. Nasu writing it made it feel very surreal and emotional rather than weird and out of place

In the anime it was no way as deep at this since the anime added that unnecessary scene of Saber trying to make dinner and kept everything the same as how the original 2004 version of the vn played aka not this deep, they basically just skipped the sex scene. In this version the discussion went a lot more deep and the whole scene of them sleeping together is more emotional than what happened in the anime. Actually, the anime made this scene a lot more problematic as Shirou purposely wanted to kiss saber even when she wasn't sure about it and about him, in this version the kiss was just sheer impulse in Shirou's part so Saber's reaction is more genuine since the kiss was basically a surprise born in the heat of the moment, Saber's uneasiness comes from the fact that Shirou's feelings were made clear and despite being a surprise she acrually enjoyed the kiss. in the anime the kiss was forced by Shirou regardless of Saber's acceptance about it, so Saber's uneasiness comes from the fact that He still kissed her depite her efforts of denying it. The anime portrays Shirou to be a lot more possessive over her while this version showcase how Saber's honesty is what Shirou wants.

This version wasn't based on the Deen one, Nasu didn't even write the fillers nor the replacement of the sex scenes in the Deen version, but he wrote the additional dialigue in this one, this version hits alot more than Deen's one and is a lot deeper, the Deen version isn't bad either but this one is definitely a lot better and meaningful that what Deen managed to do with it. In the original version back in 2004 tho, Shirou tell Saber he wants to have sex with her, she accepts under the excuse of being just mana transfer and nothing more. They both get naked (Saber using a white short dress is just for the vanilla version that this video shows, not the original H scene) and she gives Shirou a fellatio, then they have sex and fall sleep together.

It's not a harem story. Shirou himself is a character not anything standard about him. And secondly, she was a ruler but in fate not just "a king of Britain told in stories" like some inhuman deity, but an actual person and human struggling with themselves and their environment trying to hold everything together as it collapsed around them. If you ask me. Arturia Pendragons story and lore is infinitely more compelling than the mess of Arthurian fanfiction that was originally created
I don't get why so many want Ufotable to adapt the Fate route. If you've played through the VN, you should know how bad they butchered the story in UBW and HF. They're by far some of the worst studios out there. It would be awesome if the team that worked on HxH 2011 could re-adapt all routes (and Hollow Ataraxia) though. Or the guys who did Ace of the Diamond. Both are some of the cleanest adaptations in the history of anime.

The problem with Ufotable's adaptations is that there's literally no aspect they _didn't_ mess up. The battle scenes lack strategy and have horrible pacing, they dispense with most comedic scenes, character interactions are robotic and awkward, and the parts that make FSN the 10/10 masterpiece that it is―namely, the in-depth analyses of human cognition and extreme philosophies―are simplified beyond recognition. It feels like it was adapted by an elementary schooler. It's easy to tell that the director didn't get the point of >90% of the scenes and dialogue. And not just that, but the director doesn't really seem to excel at anything in particular. This is in stark contrast with other adaptations, e.g. HxH 2011: there, the battles have fully retained the strategic aspects + have excellent animation and pacing, character interactions feel realistic, comedy is on-point, the internal thoughts of characters are left intact, etc. This is exactly the type of adaptation that FSN would need in order to shine.

I can't believe you used the Ufotable argument as if that would mean something, the Ufotable adaptions aren't even master pieces they lack a lot of characterization that is lost by the skipping of monologues. And that's something that Deen didn't resolve either.
Deen is a good adaption, but to say that they managed to inprove this scene better than the AUTHOR himself did in his own version when just the timelapse of both scenes has a lot of difference is giving too much credit to Deen whe they basically just skipped the sex that the r18 version had and didn't even adapt the whole dialogue.

But regarding that 'dinner scene', I actually really like that scene. It's an anime-original scene between Shirou and Saber that I completely love.

They both get naked (Saber using a white short dress is just for the vanilla version that this video shows, not the original H scene) and she gives Shirou a fellatio, then they have sex and fall sleep together.

No! King Arthur, what have they done to you? How could they turn a legendary ruler of Britania into a lovey-dovey fifteen-year-old girl embroiled in an adolescent romance with the standard harem hero?
It's not a harem story. Shirou himself is a character not anything standard about him.
And secondly, she was a ruler but in fate not just "a king of Britain told in stories" like some inhuman deity, but an actual person and human struggling with themselves and their environment trying to hold everything together as it collapsed around them.
If you ask me. Arturia Pendragons story and lore is infinitely more compelling than the mess of Arthurian fanfiction that was originally created

I don't get why so many want Ufotable to adapt the Fate route. If you've played through the VN, you should know how bad they butchered the story in UBW and HF. They're by far some of the worst studios out there.
It would be awesome if the team that worked on HxH 2011 could re-adapt all routes (and Hollow Ataraxia) though. Or the guys who did Ace of the Diamond. Both are some of the cleanest adaptations in the history of anime.
@@LyGon-pw5mt I'm like that, too: I have nothing against cutting out parts of the story, and I generally prefer animes over VNs... in theory.
The problem with Ufotable's adaptations is that there's literally no aspect they _didn't_ mess up. The battle scenes lack strategy and have horrible pacing, they dispense with most comedic scenes, character interactions are robotic and awkward, and the parts that make FSN the 10/10 masterpiece that it is―namely, the in-depth analyses of human cognition and extreme philosophies―are simplified beyond recognition.
It feels like it was adapted by an elementary schooler. It's easy to tell that the director didn't get the point of >90% of the scenes and dialogue. And not just that, but the director doesn't really seem to excel at anything in particular.
This is in stark contrast with other adaptations, e.g. HxH 2011: there, the battles have fully retained the strategic aspects + have excellent animation and pacing, character interactions feel realistic, comedy is on-point, the internal thoughts of characters are left intact, etc. This is exactly the type of adaptation that FSN would need in order to shine.
You can argue the quality of ufotables adaptions all you want. Fate route deserves to be brought into the modern era

Yeah, after what they did to Heaven’s Feel, I’d really like if Ufotable never touched Fate ever again. They managed to fuck up everything they could, but it looks pretty so people don’t complain.

En esta version que salio en 2007 no, Nasu lo cambio por esta escena.
Basicamente en la version original sucede lo mismo pero justo despues del beso Shirou ke eice a Saber que quier coger y ella le dice que sale y vale. En esta version Shirou solo le dice que quiere pasar la noche con ella y ella es la que le sugiere que duerman juntos (sin nada erotico de trasfondo).
