Changing out the tires on my Z587L Zero Turn

- After using this mower on my Kentucky property I've come to the realization that the original tires were lacking in adequate traction for the terrain, so I changed them out to something more aggressive.
This is my solution...
Good job, I like watching people do the same crap that I do.
Thanks, glad you liked it 👍
Good job
@@joeparker7508 Thanks
Good video, love your puppies.
Thanks 😊
Even when things go smooth manual tire changing is still a workout
Absolutely
Use a ratchet strap in the middle ,helps
Damm tires look bad ass🔥
I agree, hopefully they work as well as they look 👍
Nothing holding the mower without back tires on the ground ,brakes are in the rear. For others to know.
I don't do tires anymore, but on my personal equipment I do, I have always used the harbor fright, misspelled on purpose.... Lol, small tire changer, and it mounted to a thick huge piece of oak, it weighs a ton but doesn't move which is the key, I have my cousin Bob's old tire spoons from the 70s. My back just can't do it anymore professionally.
The bigger tires are easy for me, but those damn little front tires are a bear.
Good job, get yourself some air chucks that clamp on so you can have your hands free to seat the bead, or do the starter fluid and lighter truck... LMAO
I also don't do tires for other ppl. I've thought about getting the one from HF but can't justify buying it for the amount of tire changes I do (less then 10 in the last decade)
I do have a locking chuck but could not find it in my Empire of Junk until after completing the tire changes (how it always goes when working on a project) 😐
I agree those small tires are a massive pain. 😳
I always carry a can of starting fluid when out on the trails, spices things up a bit after knocking the bead off a tire 💥😁
Now if I can only find my spoons
@@DurtyMaxDee Hahahaha, yeah I feel your pain, I was looking for my new soldering iron yesterday, and couldn't find it to save my life, the wife finds it, turns out she put it away, and didn't let me know Hahahaha.

I once looked for over a year for my cat5 end crimper's, finally asked the wife if she might know where they were and without missing a beat she says yes they're in my work bag (she's an IT tech) 🤯
so you use them gnarly treads to remove the grass, so u don't have to mow any more?
LOL. Exactly, who likes cutting grass anyways, right?
WOW 😮 what a set of tires! What is the name brand of the tires and size?
KENDA makes them. Here's a link to them, not affiliated in any way

@@DurtyMaxDee Thanks 🙏
You can use nitroglycerin.
That would be a real banger lol 😆 😂 🤣
I was gonna order the sunF tires for my zero turn after watching your other video. Why did you go with a different tire those time? Which one do you prefer?
Basically, it came down to size availability. I couldn't find the SunF tires in the size I needed for the Z587L, and these were available.
As far as which one I like better, they're about the same. They both did the job I needed them to do.
Great, thank you!
Need more tire school.
