The only issue I see with any of these is most of them are made somewhat small. I have a family of tall individuals so a lot of them we would have to squat to sit at which isn’t the most comfortable. I’ve noticed when shopping for regular furniture it seems like furniture over all has gotten shorter. As I get older and with a few knee injuries I prefer taller pieces. I’m not sure if the majority of the population is getting shorter or if living spaces are just getting smaller? 🧐
Yes..... I have some of the same issues....height and physicality issues, but designs are fantastic. To the designers....please do consider height options!
I have this type too and it is so hard both as a chair and a bed. I had to buy a mattress to put on top of it when using as a bed, but then you have to find somewhere to store the mattress.

I’m 75 with sore bones and hips and need something thicker mattress-wise, and buying a thicker mattress certainly helps in my case. I only sleep on it occasionally though as I keep it in the living room and only use it if my arthritis is bad and I can’t make it up the stairs to my proper bed.

I own a Chair-bed Ellie-like. It is not comfortable as a sofa and I need an additonal matress if one of my guests want to sleep on it.
I have this type too and it is so hard both as a chair and a bed. I had to buy a mattress to put on top of it when using as a bed, but then you have to find somewhere to store the mattress.
@@katperson7332 I have a foldable matress. It doesn't have to be very thick, a 7cm-matress added is enough.
