Quote, Unquote, supposed to be called Travolta hence the wee Grease bit in the song. JT wasnt happy his name being attached with the lyrical content 🤣🤣🤣.
Anyway this is Mike Pattons pre Faith No More band.
Trey Spruance is one of my favourite guitarists and also recorded the FNM King For A Day album, which is my favourite one. He gets some tone out of a plank of wood

I actually loved them from that album. My cousin actually had the cassette. He bought it as he had loved The Real Thing album by FNM. He heard this was pattons pre FNM band but he wasn't fussed so gave it to me. I thought it was lethal 🤡🤡

It was actually a stock patch on a Boss ME-80 multifx pedal I had. Can't remember the exact patch tho. But an Envelope Filter would give you the same effect 🤘🤘
