Thanks for the video... sometimes when I straighten my left leg from the bent to the straight position (like when standing up from a sitting position) I hear a click sound and then it starts hurting (especially when walking)... so which exercises should I do please ?
Hi I am trying to do you rehab videos for pfps the exercises dont hurt . My issue is sitting at work keeps flaring up the pain. What can I do to modifying my sitting in the office to stop aggravating my kneecap and reduce pain?
Hi Joshua, Ouch yes common problem. Try to get the the knee bending and straightening under the desk and don't keep it bent in one pos for too long. I hope the vid helps!

these exercises are just not right! you mentioned yourself that we people with this condition have pain going up and down stairs. How are we supposed to exercise step downs?! it hurts my knees a lot
You can also try hinging at the hips and doing touch downs. It places more emphasis on your glutes. It’s literally night and day just bending over. Squat university has done a lot of videos on it
Check out "El Mano Manual Physical Therapy" chennel, it has a lot of videos with explanations, they are very very good, i have same problem, helped me a lot
@ThePhysioChannel I've been dealing with knee pain since January. Just found out my knee cap is little off. I had knee surgery on my right knee then got a blood clot in the other leg then few weeks later another blood clot. I have to give myself a shot in the stomach every 12 hours now 😩

your case seems a bit more extreme, maybe get a doctors opinion on it. this videos for moderate pain, it seems.

I agree with you step up and downs make it worse
I recommend hip thrust and deadlifts to strenghten your glutes and only do low impact workouts
