The thing about guts is not that it stops the enemy from attacking altogether, but that it stops the enemy from attacking that servant for the next attack after the guts procs. This means that the enemy stops attacking altogether only in a solo/last man situation or during taunt (I.e., when the enemy is forced to attack that servant after the guts). It is definitely possible for the servant with the guts to hit and die, guts activates, a different servants gets hit and then for the third attack it goes back to the servant that had the guts.

Whenever I got reduced to a solo situation with Herc the enemy ALWAYS attacked after the NP. It works the same for us. You kill with NP, enemy guts procs, and you’re forced to attack the same servant since they’re still alive. Now if you die to an attack and guts procs, they stop attacking. But since NP and attack are considered separate actions the NP kills and then they attack if you’re still alive.
I have a strong suspicion that the reason the Guts don't save Gorgon is that her guts is triggered BEFORE the other two die. You should've placed her in the 3rd spot instead of the first spot, that way the other two would die, and then Gorgon's guts would be triggered, stopping further attacks.

Yeah true, I actually knew about the reset needing in between hitting the guts target but just didnt put 2 and 2 together.
