Ironically, the bit with choosing what to do with Green works: Pass judgement on others, and judgement in kind will be passed on you. Forgiveness isn't just about the jerkass who made you miserable, it's about letting go of your own spite.
i mean the remaining days thing gives vibes of smt3nocturne tbf and in general this game a lot of smt vibes with all the heaven and demons stuff just a lot less summoning and press turns from weakness abuse
Excellent summary, that's the second video game which went with concave universe cosmology as part of its setting. First one was rather obscure and philosophical Terranigma. Any other examples you guys can think of?
I don't see how Violet forgave anyone she kind of went out the same way she always lived. I also thought that the book of life cemented someone's place in "heaven" so if White wrote Green in it then Green would still be there to take the inkhorn from him. But the real heaven is beyond that place it seems, still though, God would not have wrote Greens name in the book of life according to his rules. So if White was able to both forgive Green and write Greens name in the book of death out of only following Gods process then I think White would have been written in the book of life. Anyways I played this game a large part because I saw you made a video on it and after your huge Inscryption verse video, I figure this worth checking out if you felt compelled to make a video on it. It was a good time cheers mate take care
By God's logic yeah, Green wouldn't be written into the book of life. But White's judgement wasn't based on him following God's logic when writing Green's name in, but whether he himself could forgive him - which was a choice given to the player between the two books.
@@100lolerty It's interesting to me how at some point I remember Green telling White something along the lines of he will always be assisting him, even when he doesn't expect it. And in the true ending of the game, White doing the opposite of Green's will to defeat him ultimately delivers Green to paradise, assisting him beyond Green's perception.
Biblically accurate mikey beloved
He's still adorable, even with the eyes
WE LOVE MIKEY🗣🗣🗣💯💯
"To no ones surprise, she immediately betrays him"
I was surprised she betrays us at that point.

Honestly u could tell me this was the plot to an SMT game and there's a good chance I'd believe you
Now all I can think of is an fps SMT game. Idk how it would work, but it sounds cool.
So that's what kept bothering me
Strange Journey could work as an fps since ur a soldier in that
i mean the remaining days thing gives vibes of smt3nocturne tbf and in general this game a lot of smt vibes with all the heaven and demons stuff just a lot less summoning and press turns from weakness abuse
I wanted to spare green but game didnt let me said i didnt have enough moments
You gotta unlock the rest of the memories by collecting the gifts after going back in levels and doing sidequests
@@Sp1cy_HotSauce oh thats why the achievement is less common, i was just acing/collecting as i went.
Actually the story is so sad. Even when the characters get to the book of life it just makes a big dot in their story
Thank you for covering the neon white story!
Thanks for make this video man it´s so good!
This game is so fun, and have one person make this explained story in youtube is great!
Love Mikey and all but Raz is just too chill to not love
i love your videos!! they always give me something to look forward to
Suffering in a world with free will is inevitable.
Bingo Bongo
I wanted to play the game but I don't have a PC. I watched some gameplay but I didn't understand
Thanks for the summary of the game, great vid

I'd say nier automata has that kind of setting at times. Worse thing is that both leave you with a feeling of wanting more story for a few days.

The point is white forginess is better ending because neo white is better than god
@@ericx6969 what
There is no heaven. Being written into the book of life allows one’s soul to move on and disappear into the wind. Sorta like Nirvana in Buddhism
You need two words for it: it sucks.
Thx for the story
Thank you for summarizing the story :)
*I couldn't listen to all that cringy dialogue so I just kept skipping without knowing the story*
because it was meant to be cringy, since the story somewhat parodies anime stereotypes, plus as the story goes on there are less cringy lines so yeah
👍🏻
