Only exceptions I can think of right now are that soul shields now go to VT, so I need to add info on that to the soul shield guide, and that heroic accessories have been changed (no longer need to upgrade), so my video from a few weeks ago on that is out of date. Otherwise I've updated everything!
Yes, a lot of celestial basing and/or naryu sanctum farming. That's why I called it the more 'farm intensive' route, although I should have done a better job explaining exactly what you'd be farming. I only mentioned the weapons.
say i had 2 alts plus my main. my main gets daily done everyday while my alts gets dailies done every week day starting friday. All 3 of them can do BT without dieing as well as weekly dailies when their open. would it help in stemming the cost of raven

I think the game is definitely worth playing. I have never been anywhere in the game that feels un-populated. There are definitely a lot of people still playing, and sometimes you can't even get into an area because of the number of people. So yea, definitely still a very active game (I wouldn't be making daily videos if it wasn't LOL). To answer your other questions: 1) Premium membership, in my opinion, does not give enough benefits for what you pay. The additional rewards are only really taken advantage of if you plan to play for 10+ hours a day and grind multiple things over and over. 2) Ncoin can be used to get things slightly faster. Once again, the general value for what you pay isn't really there. There are a few exceptions however, the most prominent being the mastery bundle and the duelist bundle. Both are only redeemable once per account, so I would make sure you liked the class you picked before purchasing it. (they are about 120$ worth of stuff and literally months of grinding for 40$, highly worth) 3) Destroyer is one of my favorite classes! It get's a lot of bad treatment in parties however for being thought of as an easy class for noobs. But being totally honest it has some of the best crowd control abilities in the game, while having above average dps at late game. Just note that you will be much lower dps than a lot of classes until you get to the mid-late game region of gear. It is one of the best solo classes in the game, easily able to 1vx any number of mobs in the story. PvP wise it is strong in 1v1 and 3v3 as well, although I don't know it's effectiveness in 6v6. Dungeon wise, the restrain skill is probably the best in the game, as it increases your party's DPS tremendously. 4) Nope, creating alts just let's you run event dungeons multiple times per day. You don't really make too much extra money from them. However for example, the event this month allows you to get some really great items across all of your alt characters, then send them over to your main. But no need to make alts, unless you want to have a different playstyle to switch between. 5) Yes this game definitely has a future. The population is up significantly from the latest class addition, more free content is added monthly (maps/quests/regions/gear), and generally speaking it is still one of the better MMORPGs on the market, even with it's age. Definitely worth giving a try if you're still on the fence! Plus this month only is a leveling event, 50% bonus exp, so you'll get to max level faster and be able to start running end game stuff sooner! Hope this helps!

Mushin tower isn't absolutely needed for anything, farming floor 15 is just a very good source of moonstones, literally about to record a video on it LOL. Also clearing to floor 19 is pretty much required to upgrade your bracelet, and floor 20 has a low % chance at some nice drops.
Fire does more DPS with less gear than shadow, but they both end up about the same when geared. You go MSP 1,5,6,7,8 and xanos 2,3,4 as the best soul shield combination before 3 piece BT, 5 piece MSP. The 3 xanos pieces have better stats than 2,3,4 msp, so that is why you use those instead. After you get 3 pieces of BT soul shields though, immediately swap into 3 piece BT, and 5 piece msp.
Excuse me if i sound like an idiot but i used to play this game and i had a hongmoon before but now on a new character i do not. How does this process work now? Do we not get the weapon we can upgrade till later? Ive been using a training weapon and now i have a stalker dagger i am using. I am only lvl 12. Please assist on how the weapon system works for a new player.
It's no longer in the game anymore, they removed it due to the complex and incredibly high investment cost to follow the upgrade path throughout the game. You now have to use the quest given weapons or roll essence stones for weapons.
As Lewis said, just play through the game and you'll get better weapons like a typical RPG. Only end game do you worry about upgrading a weapon anymore.
The game provides you with your weapon as you level up. It makes it so you can’t over gear your level or area too easily so new players can learn how to play their classes and remove all the early grind for them. Once you finish the entire story or come nearing the end, the story quest will provide you with a pre-stage one legendary weapon (you chose whether you go baleful or seraph with a light or dark stone in the dragon express) and basic accessories.
After just recently hitting stage 12 on my weapon, I'm torn on which route to go. Do I want to get a really nice DPS boost with one of the best looking weapons in the game? Or do I want to save a bunch of money and wait. What makes it even harder is that I just got the Soul from trove for 150g, so I'm SUPER tempted to go Raven now haha.
I'm definitely not rich by any means, but I can make time for that one raid a week. I might do it, though, to be honest. I'll be hitting stage 12 on my Baleful before the weekend.
real talk, I'd go raven if I had the raven soul, and enough Elysian crystals saved up. It's such a guaranteed progress route. You know that by 'BT' run x, you'll have enough souls to upgrade to stage 'Y'. Dawn/rift is super grindy. I don't know that I could farm all those void fragments in celestial basin or naryu sanctum. But it's great if you want to save a ton of gold in exchange for a bit more playtime. Still, I'd make sure I had a lot of elysian crystals saved up before going in on it, because those are going to cost a TON of money. (literally the majority of the cost is in those crystals). But yea... after grinding peaches on 10 characters, I'm about ready to forget about the whole Gunwon area entirely... LOL
Having to do Celestial Basin twice for my badge and twisted weapon was bad enough as it is already. I'm already over it, haha. So I might just go ahead and go right into Raven. I don't exactly have the patience to keep grinding Celestial Basin when I want to do other things in the game. On top of that, I don't have nearly as much time as I used to as a kid, haha. I'll probably go to Raven though, then start on other equipment. I still need my bracelet, and I know that'll be a NICE dps boost. One thing I need to do, as well, as start upgrading the pet. Baby steps.... baby steps... An update to my Baleful, btw, I got it to stage 12, and finally was able to get all the gem slots..... only took 12 stages to get it...

I think it's close to the actually req. I see in f8 TBH... LOL. I meant to say 950 to 1000, (as in what people look for when recruiting), but 950,000 came out. Oh Well. LOL!
What is the full name of your lynblade? About 7 months ago, a lot of the older weapons were phased out of the game. Perhaps you have one of these older weapos?
Ah yes, that weapon was removed back in February actually. the TL:DR is all you do is salvage that weapon, and you will receive a new, stronger one. Then the story will give you better and better weapons as you play through it, up until ultimately giving you the weapon you see in this video at Act 7, chapter 1. The long version is that in February, in order to make the game more accessible to new players, they did away with the upgrade system up until you got a weapon called the ivory-moon weapon, which is when they implemented the salvage your weapon for a better one thing I just said. After that, in September, they again streamlined the system to the one you see in this video. They further streamlined it today actually, reducing the requirements to upgrade your weapon, making this video now incomplete.

I saw a reddit post earlier on someone who was scammed in a similar situation. www.reddit.com/r/bladeandsoul/comments/72f214/new_scam_that_can_get_you_banned_by_the_support/ It looks like this is an ongoing scam. If you have backlogs of your conversation with the player, I would recommend filing them to the support team to show that your transaction was only 1 key, and that your accuser (likely whoever you traded with) is falsifying the numbers in order to ban you. Support tends to get these things ironed out eventually. Furthermore, if indeed this is the case, and you are falsely accused and set up and have the backlogs to prove it, you could actually file legal paperwork against this person on the terms of defamation laws (effectively lying about your character, giving you a bad name in the community, etc...), false advertising, and some other things. Depending on how pissed you really are at the person. This stuff is no joke, and I advise anyone who is reading this to avoid the whole key trading thing, because even though it is allowed in the games terms and conditions, you are in violation of contract, as outlined by the code of conduct that you agreed to by signing in. If one party feels mistreated, or terms are changed in an un-agreed path, you could find yourself with a banned account, or worse legal trouble, as outlined above.
