IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Before I go on to talk about the video, I need to address that I will be away for two weeks. As I have been doing for the past four summers (if any of you are long-time subscribers you'll probably know what I'm about to say), I’m shadowing and assisting zookeepers at Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL, as part of their summer career camps. Basically I’ll be scooping rhino/elephant/giraffe/etc poop for two weeks. So not exactly a traditional summer camp, but still a camp, meaning restrictions when it comes to electronics. This means I will be away from my computer, thus away from animating. I WILL have my phone, but only for one hour every night. I’ll be posting pictures and updates of my experience on Twitter if anyone is interested. Once I return I will resume animating for MAP parts I have due.
With that said, on to the actual animation.
Script: “Tawnykit and Bramblekit are cowering in their nest, cuddled up against each other. They are eyeing their mother. When she says “didn’t I tell you, smell that air,” have a shot of her guarding the nursery and looking back at her kits. Try to make the interior of the nursery noticeably darker. When she says “city on fire,” show her face looking distressed.”
I somehow managed to do this in than two weeks (luckily school is over now so I was able to work on it more), and being the slow animator I am, that's quite an achievement x'D. But I have to leave for camp on Friday, and Roseshards has been so patient with all the extensions I’ve been asking for, so I decided if I were to finish any animation before Busch Gardens it would be this MAP part. I have to say, the patterns for this were a PAIN, but the designs are beautiful so I think it’s worth it in the end (although I still can’t get a handle on stripes for whatever reason). Some parts are rushed, but for what it is and the time crunch I was in, I’m relatively pleased with this animation. I’m also super excited to be a part of this MAP, all the parts look AMAZING so far!

AAAA WOW! This is gorgeous!! And you made it so quickly!!
The movement is so amazing and smooth and?? I just?? I really love how Goldenflower is always in motion and I really love it when Bramble and Tawny curl up in the nest! The shading is an EXCELLENT touch and it really compliments and the animation and general atmosphere! The expressions are also really wonderful and the lip-sync is great!!! Thank you soooo much, I love it!!

It looks awesome! Wish you luck for shadowing. It'll be interesting I'm sure. ^^ I've seen the wolves in Williamsburg and a keeper went in and howled with them. It was really cool to see.
