Instead of clicking the pitch button, click simulate half inning so that you have no input at all. (Incase the CPU actually wants to pitch around someone instead of pitch to them)

That's a good idea! I assume it's an even playing field if I click pitch for both sides, but that's probably not the case with different CPUs

Yes, but only pressing X to swing. I only do it this way because it's the only way to get the camera view from the batter's box. If you fully sim, it's always on the pitchers mound which makes for a pretty boring video for most viewers
