The problem with this is the editing. Because someone couldn't do their jobs right, we have some idiots claiming they were lip synching, even though videos of this performance surfaced weeks ago.

I don't know if it's just me, but Dinah and Leona actually have distinctly different voices. Also WHY IS IT THAT FIFTH HARMONY COVERS HAVE BETTER OVERALL VOCALS THAN THEIR OWN SONGS?? THEY ACTUALLY GIVE THEIR NAMESAKE DURING COVERS
Marzell Holbrook because the songs they sing actually dont focus on them vocally. I blame management for that
J Lewis there are other non-R&B groups that have their vocal abilities displayed in their music so them being pop doesn't count as a cop out
5H sang live. People posted live recordings from their performances weeks ago. There's even a mic feed video on RUclips. Ad-libs were added in post and some normal production clean up. Otherwise you'd hear noise from the crowd and the park.

@H4RMONY VEVO it doesn't change the fact that they were singing live. It also means the Ad-libs were added in post. The ad-libs from one recording would have to be added to the other. They could've removed the ad-libs during post. My guess is the engineers liked the ad-libs and cared more about the sound than the visuals. Splicing, merging, and other edits are a normal part of production cleanup when it comes to TV broadcasts. It's the audio team's job to create the best audio experience from the recordings. It doesn't take from the 5H's outstanding live performance.

That was Dinah doing them two head voice runs during ally’s high note part but it was edited🙄
In reference to the Disney stuff, it was live at the park but when Disney edits it for tv they use a pre-recorded track layered over the live version to diminish the crowd noise. That's how most tv shows work. You can watch fan videos from the park and see it was live.
