I’m diagnosed with depression and anxiety since 2020. I’m 30 y/o, graduated from medical school since 2019 and recently found out that I don’t want to live that way, it’s not what I wanted but I thought it was only because my family was really proud of me when I graduated. I always pleased them first and my needs and likes and dislikes were always aside. I quit my job and have been unemployed for 4 months now. Already applied to a lot of jobs and no one’s giving me an opportunity so today I had a huge mental breakdown. Found myself crying in the middle of the night when this video popped up. Now I’m crying because all I want is to be comforted as a child and not being judged anymore. Dear Cosmo, your video feels like a soft, warm hug to my heart. Thank you for this.

I just wanted people to like me, and I regret it now. I'm 18 but I feel older due to the depression and my AuDHD. This really reminds me of talking to my favorite GIGANT teddy bear when I was a little kid, he's still next to me right now tbh❤ My favorite thing to do before sleeping at that age was kind of...scrunching up my baby blanket and using whatever structures it ended up in as a castle for my animal figures to play on.
