After a day exploring Bibury and a very peaceful night at Bibury Camping -

Before heading for a walk around St Mary's Church -

Then it's back on the road, destination The Rollright Stones - www.rollrightstones.co.uk/
The weather is gorgeous and the wander around the stones is a great way to spend the afternoon before heading to the next stopover at Field Barn Park Campsite, Bourton-on-the-Water - fieldbarnpark.com/
which turns out to be one of my favourite campsite stays to date!
The perfect spot for exploring Bourton-on-the-Water.

Hi, I’m Sue from Lancashire, UK.
This channel is just me getting out and about in a converted VW Campervan, occasionally with friends but mostly solo. Fun, laughs, moans, groans, mistakes, and successes. It’ll all be in here!
I’ll share new places, hints, tips, any info I discover and whatever else I think you might find useful.
I began vlogging my solo travels in ‘Vanya’, to help me re-engage with life following the sudden, tragic loss of my husband over 3 years ago now. Working through a very complex grief has been the hardest & loneliest challenge imaginable. Some days it still knocks me completely sideways and probably always will. I really don't know. All I do know is that life can change forever and irreversibly in an instant.
By returning to the vanlife we had enjoyed so much together & embracing a new found love of video creation and vlogging, I’m continuing to build strength and balance to move forward through this completely unforeseen and unwanted next chapter of life.

Hi Sue. I've been all over this country, but never been to Bibury. (That's surely the first line in a country song.) But it looks gorgeous. Been to the Rollright stones though... and stayed overnight in the layby. It was about 30 years ago... don't think you'd get away with it now. Gorgeous scenery, beautifully filmed!

Glad to see you back on my screen. Hope house move has gone well. We stayed at that site about 8 years ago when we had our micro camper. I’m hoping you took the road down to Bourton rather than the bridle path which took us through a fired of curious cows. Take care Gill
I did take the steep road down on my bike Gill. No such scary encounters for me. Lovely site isn’t it. House move not moving particularly fast at the mo but we’ll get there. You take care too 😊
We loved this Sue. The Cotswolds is a beautiful area. Although it does get crazy busy sometimes. But there is always a little oasis there somewhere and you found it. We joined Green Camping so we’re looking forward to some stops like that one

Hi, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I much preferred both of these sites to the first Club site. They were more peaceful, and more immersed in nature with the feeling of freedom I seek in my van. Cheaper too. The house sale is slow at the moment but still heading in the right direction. Surely not too long now 🤞🏻. Happy travels to you both 😊

I love the Cotswolds and your videos are really doing it justice. We were planning on heading off to Barnard Castle today but I’m feeling a bit ropey so we’re giving it a miss and going to Hawes next month instead. The weather’s also a bit changeable so I’m happy about the new arrangements 😁. Thanks for sharing another really entertaining video.

Lovely video as usual Sue and so relaxing. I love the countryside in spring when the hawthorn and cow parsley is in bloom. Waiting (im)patiently now for the Bourton one. Haven’t been there for years, and never in the camper, but we did stay a couple of times at The Dial House Hotel. Very busy but once it gets past 5pm it’s empty 😂

Another lovely vlog . Beautiful scenery and both sites looked great . 9 hours sleep 😴. I wish , I work nights and sleep pattern is awful , perhaps have to buy a camper van and sleep on the drive 🤣Hope the house move is going or gone ok 👍 x

Oh what a wonderful summer we had. You've given me some great ideas for days out in the winter, if we get some nice cold crispy ones. These places are only just over an hours run from me. Looking forward to seeing Bourton on the Water next time 👍

New to your channel, looking at converting camper van and came upon your channel...glad I did. You are great, really great, absolutely love your van, personally I couldn't have those beautiful light coloured seats as I never go without my border collie Bella and she would get them black in no time.

Great videos! I saw in an earlier one you had bought a Dawes Curve folding bike. Can you please tell me if it has been reliable and where you bought it from? I’m asking this as I’ve bought another make before and found it really uncomfortable to ride, plus their customer service was terrible.
Hi, yes my bike has been great, perfect for my needs. The only thing I’m going to change is chunkier tyres for rougher off road cycle tracks. Before I bought this I trial rode several others because they all feel different so fortunately no comfort problems. So try well before buying. I bought it from an independent cycle shop near me, always find better service with independent shops.
Thanks for that. I have looked at trying to buy from a local shop, but the only folding e bikes they stock apart from Halfords start at at £3,000!
