I had my doubts on this tire inflator. Any other one I've ever dealt with was considerably larger. This one fits in your hand, and is shaped that it fits nicely. I couldn't even imagine that something this small could do the job.
But OH YES it does! Rechargeable via USB, has its own battery, no need to stretch out the poorly made cords on the other ones out there that barely reach if you're lucky. It's a great thing to keep in your trunk for an emergency. If not for you, there may be another driver who could use it, and you could "pay forward" the favor. All of my doubts were completely unfounded, this VEEAPE tire inflator can do the trick--and charge your phone when not being used. It's not the fastest thing in the world, but it can most certainly do the job.

I recently bought one for my bike. Peace of mind on the road. Complete kit, easy to use. Recommended.
Yes, I've been quite pleased with mine.
Very cool gadget. I wouldn't use it to air up my 4Runner's tires after off-roading; I'd be there for two hours assuming that the battery lasts that long. But for my bikes and gym equipment, seems like it will do just fine. Ordered one from Amazon. Tx for the review!
No problem!
Pretty cool device used it on my car and it worked so well!
Yes, very handy.
it's pretty cool! light weight portable with rechargeable battery
Yes, real easy to use, and definitely does the job.
I bought mine in Australia - Just topped up 4 car tyres (36psi) and 4 Golf cart tyres (20psi) with one charge. Took about an hour to top up the battery.
This works great for topping up tires, not necessarily filling them. It is unsurpassed for small tires like bicycle tires and lawn or snow equipment tires.
Probably gonna pick one for my motorcycle. I swear I have to fill up almost every day in the colder months 🙄
That's not uncommon, especially if you have older tires.
oh nice i was searching for the same model for review and i found your page. planning to get one for my cycling adventure. really hope the battery can last. how is the battery / pump after 6 months of usage? (since this was posted on nov 2019) hope you can provide with additional feedback. also what is the maximum PSI it can be set to? thanks!
It's been holding up fine actually. It's much better suited to bike tires and other small tires than for car tires. You might bring some sort of power bank with you to recharge it while you cycle, it can't hurt.
@@jaykay18 i bought it already and its amazing! i use it on my road bike and it can set to a maximum of 100 psi. my friends bicycle got a puncture today and we got the tyre fill up in less than 2 mins.
Thanks for the review, did you compare the value with a "real" compressor ? is it acurate ? thanks
Yes, I did. It is accurate. The numbers on the display, while filling, don't seem to indicate so, but once done it is indeed accurate.
Great vid do you think it would be good for a bike tire? Will short hose bend ok?
Yes and yes.
I didn't see charging it covered, but I want to know why it says Ch9 when I have it charging. I thought that means Charge completed 9 out of 10 quantities of charge (presumably 90%) but then it said Ch9 when fully empty, so I don't get it. Is that how it says the speed of the charge, or was it made by a guy named Charles Numbringham IX?
It says Ch9 because it's watching Channel 9 while being charged. Actually, the reason it says that is simple--it's a standard digit display. There is no way for it to display a letter "g", so the 9 is actually a "g" without a descender. It will, however, continue to say Ch9 even after it's fully charged. I just plug mine in and come back to it either hours later or the next day. By then, I know it's fully charged.
@@jaykay18 Thank you for the answer. I have a computer science degree and have programmed 7 segment displays and still I did not realize the 9 was a g. Big cheers for you.
@@GreenLegendRan Thanks very much!
How long does it take for the device to fully charge from 0 to 100%?
That depends entirely upon what charger you use and the quality of the USB cable you use.
Thanks for the review . it would get you of trouble i would think
Yes indeed!
My experience with this tools is that it is off by 0.5 to 1 bar. It is very noisy. Also you had to hold the tools throughout if your tire is in place. You cannot leave it on the ground as it will be dangling. Other than that, it is ok
That's quite a ways off. I've tested my tires with a tire gauge after using this to test it's accuracy. Here we use PSI, which is about 14.5 bar to 1 PSI, and it's been off by 1 PSI, or about 1/14th of a bar.
Noisy? ALL AIR COMPRESSORS ARE NOISY. You can leave it dangle there if you don't mind it getting scratched up on the ground (depending on where the tire stem is). It'll keep working. Best for use with small tires like on lawn equipment or bicycles. Just because it can be used for a car tire, doesn't mean it should.
I'm looking for a replacement for those little cans of air to dust stuff off, would this feel a little mini air tank?
If you have a small tank as such, then it should do the trick.
@@jaykay18 I read somewhere the max PSI that this could handle was 100 then I read somewhere that tanks I am wanting to use our full at 150 so if I fill them to 100 that's basically 2/3 full right?
@@bluidguy4007 No, they'll be full, at 100PSI. The more you can compress air, the more pressure, not really more air per se, although that does come into play.
@@jaykay18 ok thanks!
Just bought, all tyres were around 20 PSI. took on average 5 mins each and just ran out on the last tyre a couple of pounds short of 33. Having trouble doing Presta valve but might be me.
Yep, that's about right. I got the same performance. As for Presta valves, you might need an adapter. Some other air pump I have has a Presta adapter.
@@jaykay18 Thanks. There must be something on Ebay.
Yep, that would be your best bet.
I'm trying to buy it but the only place that I've found is Amazon but they don't allow shipping to Canada for this product.
There may be others on Amazon Canada website that you can get. All of my reviews are for US products.
im in Canada and just ordered one of these. doesn't look like i'll have any troubler getting it.

Would you be able to send me the link
Is it waterproof? I was gonna buy it to mod a pressurised water gun to be automatic pressure refilling
No, if it were, I would have said so. You'll be very hard-pressed to find one that is.
@@jaykay18 I’ll probably have to epoxy it shut with rubber seals or create sumthing to isolate it from water
@@hollowknight4690 Yes, with homebrew stuff, this is what needs to be done.
Is this better than the cycplus A2? I know the cycplus is older but it seems to me that it was working faster than this one. I'd appreciate your reply when you find time. (Btw I watched your video on the cycplus too)
That's great, considering I NEVER did a video on the cycplus.
@@jaykay18 I might got confused, I apologize.
that icon you was not sure what it means i think it may be custom pressure and read instructions for warnings as high pressures can be dangerous and even deadly as for example big rig trucks have very large tires that have split or multi pied rims and they can explode sending pieces of metal and tire to injure and even kill who is working on the tire witch is why big tires are usually filled inside a cage.
also note the 100 psi .
Yes, this won't fill truck tires.
Screen is stuck after charging. Any recommendations?
Hold the power button down for an inordinately long time, maybe 30 seconds or a full minute. Otherwise you can leave it and let the battery die which could take months, or contact the manufacturer.
Mine the same😢
thanks
Sure.
Do you know how to make this one attach onto my presta road bike valve? Just lets the air out :(
The brass adapter is included to convert from Schrader to Presta.
@@jaykay18 mine is black and does fit over the valve but does not "attach" on so it just lets the air out, not allowing me to inflate it as it normally does (and am a seasoned road rider so know how to inflate them with a manual pump). It seems like there may be some trick to getting it to actually click onto the valve?
@@paigelarsonphysiotherapist2946 Right in the beginning of the video I show the parts that come with it. In the little accessory bag there is a brass adapter. The black end of the hose fits a Schrader valve just fine, that brass piece is supposed to be a Presta adapter.
@@jaykay18 Yeah, I saw that - I did not get a brass one, just a black one which does fit over a Presta valve, but as mentioned, it does not click on so does not work. Maybe the brass one would work but then why send the black one? Thanks for your help!
@@paigelarsonphysiotherapist2946 Try contacting the manufacturer, they are going to be the ones to replace parts if they are defective.
Did you get paid for this review? Or did the manufacturer give you this piece to review?
I paid out of my own pocket for this tire inflator. There are deals made under the table all the time, whether or not one of those happened is absolutely none of your business.
@@jaykay18 As long as you're giving your honest opinion about what you're reviewing, it's all good!
@@You-Toober Yes, always. This products is made for a purpose. Obviously, something so small would do much better with small tires for things like snowblowers and bicycles, but indeed it can fill up a car tire if put to the task. It was all shown in the video. I wouldn't rely on it to fill up more than one car tire. In fact, it may not get a flat tire to the right pressure, but at least it'll make it drivable again to get to a station. For smaller tires, it can't be beat.
judging from that answer he gave, yeah, he got it for free or got paid. or both.
My battery is dead anyone idea how can i change the battery?
I haven't gotten that far along yet where the battery is dead. What I can tell you is it went together, so it has to come apart. I wouldn't be terribly surprised to find batteries like 18650s in there, though they may have used a pouch-type battery.
Good when its not broken mine stuck on now ( just the led) pressed it loads of times just wont work or turn off even any idears people please
Leave it until the battery is completely dead. Then charge it and try it. If no good, it is no good.
@@jaykay18 thanks
@@ricardo6861 You're welcome.
@@jaykay18 it now works😁👌👍👍thank you 😊
@@ricardo6861 Excellent, you're welcome.
How you no this is fully charged
The display will tell you.
How long it tacks my 1 says ch9 still
@@stephenmackenzie7574 That depends on the charger and cable you are using. It will take several hours.
that's nice to have a air compressor
These ones for the car or that run off the car are an indispensable tool to have, I carry one in each vehicle.
@@jaykay18 that's nice to do that if I had one I would use the power bank feature
Personally, I'd rather it stay charged so it's ready for an emergency. I have those lithium jump packs in the cars also, and although I've never had to use them, I take them in twice a year, January 1 and July 1, to charge, then return them to the cars. This is just one more thing to charge.
I got one of these and it won't even inflate a sealed plastic bag, let alone my motorcycle tire. If not for the flashlight function I would throw it in the trash where it belongs.
Obviously, yours is defective, this video proves the device works.
@@jaykay18 It does have excellent reviews at Amazon and I will admit that I got stung with a defective unit and it's a $63 loss for me. Point is, I still need a portable pump but I am discouraged from buying the same brand again. Perhaps reaching out to the seller at Amazon would have sorted the matter, but it was ordered on November 30, 2022, months before it was ever actually used so I doubt the seller would believe me and send me a replacement. It's my loss.. sucks, but aw well.
@@HigzyTeflon There shouldn't be any loss for you, it has a one year warranty. If you reach out to the seller, and give them the Amazon order #, they can look that up and verify it's less than a year and they will take care of it for you. Most of these overseas companies have much better customer service then well-known American companies. I review a lot of products, and occasionally there are defective ones that come in. Out of over 1,000 products, I can safely say that maybe about 10 of them, or 1%, were defective. Out of those 10, I've only gotten burned once or twice by companies that didn't want to help. So give it a shot, you have nothing to lose by trying, and your $55 by not.
@@jaykay18 I wasn't aware of a 1-year warranty. That's due-diligence fail on my part.. haha. Thanks for that info. I will attempt to reach the seller and will be glad to post results here, if any. Thanks again. You have earned my sub! Cheers
@@HigzyTeflon Thanks very much! Good luck!
Elapse time, ha.
If that's all you have, it could be twice that time and it would be time well spent.
Can you talk China into letting me review this?
I'll fire off an email right now.
