Hi Hunter GT nice to see you back at it again, and congratulations on the silver! My heart always skips a beat when I see that unmistakable silver shine staring back up at me from the hole. I also wanted to let you know that your videos and reviews were the deciding factor in my buying the Teknetics Patriot several months ago. I love using it, and I recently made a video on my channel of a gold ring find (and return!) using the Patriot. I hope it isn't bad etiquette to mention my channel/video here in your comments, but I thought you might appreciate it. Happy hunting and please keep the videos coming!
Awesome job on that returned ring...a true credit to the hobby! I don't mind you promoting that at all....just keep in mind any comments with links or keywords like "channel" get marked as spam until I can approve them. It's a RUclips thing. Really appreciate you supporting my channel and watching my vids. Glad I could help you decided on the Patriot. A fantastic machine....so deep and fast it's bonkers at times.
Hey HunterGT. Great to see you out digging again. Hope you are feeling better. That machine does really well in park settings. I still have my old Bounty Hunter and she is still going strong. Nice silver and wheat penny. Thanks for sharing my friend. GL and HH. Eric ( did you wear 2 different shirts for the 2 days of detecting? LOL. )
I'm a park Hunter too...lots of trash. I love finding wheat pennies...junk jewelery. I am new but it's fun. Even for a few coins. Thanks for keeping it real.
I love going out at sunrise to hear the coyotes howl. (didn't sound like coyotes though) Nice hunt, and congrats on the silver. The waters are beginning to rise for that biblical silver flood after the drought.
Yeah, I can handle coyotes. They are usually pretty scared and run off if humans are around. These wolves or hyenas (they have both there) didn't sound like they would be the run away types LOL. I'll take a silver flood any day. Tell your brother to pass some of that JuJu my way.
I think I know the brother you are referring to but he isn't mine. That's okay. One thing you left out of your comparisons to other channels that are pulling IHP's, Walkers, Barbers ect... is most of those are on private permissions. A silver Rosie pulled out of a picked over public park is a bit different than a Barber Half pulled out from under the first coil over it.
@@coldnosed7172 Yeah my bad... must be CDogs brother. Good point on the private permissions. I need to start knocking some. Guy found a gold coin on a yard here a few months back.
I know it certainly feels that way for me sometimes when I watch other channels. But then I can't really say because I haven't been out detecting hardly at all this year. I go from being really busy to being a shut-in because of my mental health issues. I just try to focus on enjoying my hunt when I am able to get out. At that point nothing else matters. Peace.
Hey Hunter just watched your latest video and like the rest of them I loved it love watching you metal detect man and I just want to say that it's not always about the fines it's not always about getting out there and getting that particular silver coin is sometimes it's just about being out there and doing what you enjoy doing I've been metal detecting for 30 years now and every time I go out it's as if it's the very first time because I still love it that much sometimes I get skunked sometimes I don't find a single thing but junk pull-tabs screw caps things like that but I don't care man it's just about being out there and doing what you enjoy doing and a lot of people don't get that with me I don't understand why do you like metal detecting so much well why do you like fishing so much the same thing why do you like doing what you do why do you like collecting guns I like collecting metal detectors and going out metal detecting and anyway I hope you're feeling well I hope you're happy back in California that's where I'm from and I miss it I'm living here in Arkansas and now and wish I could be back home but I can't it is what it is so we got to make the best of it anyway you take care of my friend and looking forward to your next video. Peace out brother.
Great post Danny. It is hard to explain this hobby to an outsider looking in. Many look at us crazy for digging in the dirt as adults. Agree 100% that it is not all about those finds. Enjoying the outdoors and some alone time are huge benefits for my mind/body/soul. The guys that make it all about the finds are going to burn out quickly in this hobby. If you ever get back out this way give me a holler. Peace!
The T2+ is a Classic with Boost process added - also comes with the Tek-Point pin-pointer ($149) and a hand digger. The LTD version has Cache mode...DST...FA process...Iron audio. The LTD is the best version they make.
I know some video channels they find silver constantly.... I've often wondered if some was planted. It's always exactly right on the edge of the plug. If you pinpoint properly it should be in the middle most of the time. Yes I could rant too. Now granted some stay out for hours and hours in the right location... but still.
Yeah, it makes you wonder when some of these channels find it EVERY single time. Location is everything....but come on....never a dull day? I've had 5-6 hour days and nothing but a few clad coins. I post those videos too!
I am sooooo glad you are back hunting I really enjoy your videos
Thanks Mark, that is really uplifting to hear.
The zoo noises added an interesting ambience 😊 Sweet dig.
Thanks DC! Was quite the noise.
Can you imagine hearing that all of the time, and knowing that you have nothing really between you and them? Incredible day hunter!
I tell you what...it was not a good sound. Made it hard to concentrate for the next 10 minutes or so.
Happy to see you out swingin.
Thanks Jerry...good to be out.

Heya Logan. Good to see you man.
My best surface find so far was a 20 dollar bill, that made the day even better.
Holy cow Amy...that def makes the day better!

It sure felt good to get back out...and nab a silver no less. Good for the mind/body/soul. Hope you get out soon my friend.
Always nice to get silver, even with wolves howling close by.
I wouldn't mind if they were a few miles further away lol
Don't our your headphones on... You won't hear the wolves sneaking up behind you lol
lol...I must have been 200-300 yards off and it sent my hairs on end.

If that bear had been a penny it would’ve been an Indian head because it would’ve been a SITTING BEAR with no legs. LOL 😂
Hi. Please, tell, there are a T2+ and T2 ltd...what is a difference between them? What is a better? Thanks! Like

Some of those shotgun head stamps are worth a few bucks on e-bay.
I did not know that. Thanks!

Yeah, people are pretty depressing sometimes. The amount of trash out here is amazing.
