What makes any list like this more accurate? Is this list based on your personal favorite songs regardless of any other factors like historical significance, chart success, george harrison backlash. ( and he is not a better writer than Lennon or McCartney, who composed dozens of classic songs, not just a handful and thank god his output wasn't increased resulting in less John and Paul ). For example, did you include a song that was low on your list ( say it was let it be ) but you included it on your list because any viable list must include that song in your way of thinking? If that's what you did, I'm not really interested in that. So your answer is?
Sixty/ to 65 percent. Two Harrison songs at the top? Yeah, we know he was in the band but really? You obviously weren't there at the time. Julia? John wrote a song about his mom. Nice. Why is it on this list? Only a northern song because? It's better than.........pick the many that you didn't seem to think about. Anna? A cover song ok, but that's the only or best cover?

There are so many that I like, but I really can't give an actual order of 1 to 100. My favorite song of theirs is usually the one that I am listening to at the time. They have so many great songs. They will always be my favorite group.

The Beatles arrived in North America in February 1964. Everywhere you went, you heard these 2 songs…on the radio, on tv news reports, on teenage dance programs, on juke boxes in local eateries. I wanna hold your hand and she loves you exemplifies the very Peak of Beatlemania…56 years later, I still feel the excitement!
#69 Maxwell’s Silver Hammer (1969) #68 It’s Only A Northern Song (1968) #67 Good Morning Good Morning (1967). This is probably just a coincidence but I thought it was instead nonetheless.
All are great but some have some extra magic about them, I love the original version of While My Guitar it's beautiful and Something even John said that song was the best on the Abbey Road album. Thanks.❤

The weird thing about a Beatles top 100 list is there are about an additional 50-100 songs that most everyone would agree could reasonably be on the top 100 list, or even a top 50 list.

@@vivaelbetis2086 I know "Because" is an unusual choice, but when you consider that both McCartney and Harrison considered it the best song on Abbey Road and it's possibly their best album, it really surprises me most people don't rate it higher. I love the melody, the perfect harmonies, the beautiful sounds of the harpsichord and Moog synthesizer, and Lennon's play on words. The chord structure which is the reverse of Beethoven's masterpiece "Moonlight Sonata" is also a strength of the song. You can't go wrong with Beethoven. And I do like spheres but not as much as dodecahedrons! LOL.
The album version has a beautiful bass line, a haunting piano part, a screaming and wailing guitar solo, better lyrics, an chaotic and apocalyptic outro, etc. What you're saying is complete nonsense. A demo won't beat a masterpiece.
Yes it is, Goodnight, Yellow Submarine, Maxwell's SIlver Hammer, Octopus's Garden, When I'm 64, Your Mother Should Know, Happiness is a Warm Gun, Blue Jay Way, and Real Love wouldn't make my list. What makes any list like this more accurate? Is this list based on your personal favorite songs regardless of any other factors like historical significance, chart success, george harrison backlash. ( and he is not a better writer than Lennon or McCartney, who composed dozens of classic songs, not just a handful and thank god his output wasn't increased resulting in less John and Paul ). For example, did you include a song that was low on your list ( say it was let it be ) but you included it on your list because any viable list must include that song in your way of thinking? If that's what you did, I'm not really interested in that. So your answer is?
Having real love and free as a bird at all on this list, and to have them that high on the list, you just lost all credibility. And this list is weak.
Sixty/ to 65 percent. Two Harrison songs at the top? Yeah, we know he was in the band but really? You obviously weren't there at the time. Julia? John wrote a song about his mom. Nice. Why is it on this list? Only a northern song because? It's better than.........pick the many that you didn't seem to think about. Anna? A cover song ok, but that's the only or best cover?

@@vivaelbetis2086 I know "Because" is an unusual choice, but when you consider that both McCartney and Harrison considered it the best song on Abbey Road and it's possibly their best album, it really surprises me most people don't rate it higher. I love the melody, the perfect harmonies, the beautiful sounds of the harpsichord and Moog synthesizer, and Lennon's play on words. The chord structure which is the reverse of Beethoven's masterpiece "Moonlight Sonata" is also a strength of the song. You can't go wrong with Beethoven. And I do like spheres but not as much as dodecahedrons! LOL.

The album version has a beautiful bass line, a haunting piano part, a screaming and wailing guitar solo, better lyrics, an chaotic and apocalyptic outro, etc. What you're saying is complete nonsense. A demo won't beat a masterpiece.
