I used to be a conservative, and my entire family is conservative. I got some inside info on this. In their hearts, Conservatives believe black people are incompatible with civilization and their position at the bottom in society is the natural order of things, and any success any black person has is due to unfair benefits given to them as they whine and lie about the past. Black conservative influencers believe this, too. Or, at least defend it. It is why Republicans eliminated affirmative action... they believe that it will reset society back to how it is meant to be, and it is justified only by denying the effects of slavery and segregation. Coincidentally, Texas and Florida are banning mentions of slavery from text books. It is all part of that plan.
