Thank you! I really lucked out and had some decent weather. A lot of clouds and rain in Belgium, but they sure do have some beautiful cities. Thanks as always for watching. 🙏

Ha! Well, first...thank you very much. Second...I wish I knew. Oddly enough, I actually published this video last week, but after a week I only had 80 views, so I deleted it and re-published to see if maybe RUclips did not share with my subscribers. I have it well optimized for search traffic and can't figure out why I'm not getting more views. Belgium is a pretty popular place. It has only been out for about 30 hours, but still, I should have 500 views by now. Anyhow, thank you so much for your kind works, much appreciated.
Thank you Mike Do a great job showing these beautiful places! I literally just booked an hour ago to go to Brussels, I cannot wait. That’s why I got to your videos.😊
@@crush42mash6 That really means a lot, thank you so much. I hope you have as good a Weather as I did while in Belgium. Either way, I’m sure you’ll have a great time.
@@RoadTripTravel Indeed, i did. The day i was in Dinant, unfortunately, the cable car to the citadel wasn't working. So, i went up to the museum by foot. What an experience.
Well, I have to say, I did not visit Tongeren, but appreciate the suggestion. Thanks so much for watching. Hope you'll check out some of my other videos. Cheers, Mike
"French fries"?! Never say "French fries" in Belgium - never ever, unless you're ready to die. Fries are a Belgian invention, as even the French acknowledge. So, it's either "Belgian fries" or just "fries".
@@RoadTripTravel @Mike's Road Trip You're welcome, and thanks for your interesting video. When it comes to fries, it's actually a sensitive subject between Belgium and France, a source of rivalries for decades. The Belgians take it very seriously and resent the world regarding the fries as French: they're pretty touchy on the subject, as fries are really part of the Belgian identity. FYI.
It’s french (referring the way the potatoes are cut) fries and not French (that referring to French people) fries. By the way, the first french fries recipe was found in a French recipe book from Paris, but that recipe have nothing to do with the Belgian recipe.
"French fries"?! Never utter the words "French fries" in Belgium, unless you're tired of life. The locals may slaughter you for that. @@RoadTripTravel Thanks for the vid, which is well made and pleasant to watch. Among the top interesting (and too little known) places in Belgium, you may want to mention - so, first visit and check out - Mons/Bergen, with its beautiful Sainte-Waudru collegiate church, baroque cobbled streets and gorgeous belfry, and Tournai/Doornik, the oldest city in Belgium, with a history going back to the Merovingians and even the Romans, its impressive cathedral and its belfry, the oldest in Belgium. Two underrated towns, imho.

Cobblestone streets there...here they tore them out and put nasty hot asphalt
Yep. Asphalt is much more pleasant to drive on, but has far less charm.
Fritz? Frieten
WHAT NOOOO YOU DID NOT JUST LIST BRUGGE BUT NOT BRUSSEL SHAME
Seriously? Read the title before commenting!
Bruges is boring, it's an open air museum.
If you say so. Most people like "open air museums."
And here we have been told the US is beautiful...I think not
The U.S. IS VERY beautiful, so many incredible places. Charleston, Sedona, Savannah, Santa Barbara, Santa Fe, the list goes on.
