- Here's my first impression of the new IT COSMETICS OIL FREE MATTE CC CREAM and I'm comparing it to the original It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream! One definitely gives more full coverage but one makes your skin look super healthy! Watch my review to see which one I think is best for normal to oily combination skin in this wear test!

Yes for the original. Been using the matte for few months now but I love the dewy look. It gives you glow and makes your skin look healthy!

I bet you need Medium Tan - that's what I use and it's nearly a Perfect match :) The neutral is more pink as I've used it too - glad you can use your Perfect Match!

I liked the original one and the matte one. You honestly could wear either depending on you mood. It's such a pretty foundation. I personally like the original formula but that's because I'm 40 and have more norm to dry skin. I just subscribed, I like your videos and I'm glad I found you.

I'm 37 &I'm waiting for the dryer skin to kick in I'd much prefer that bc there's soooo much more illuminating, glow, dewy, moisturising products out there &when ur on the oilier side ur stuck with a boat load of powder ( looks unnatural&way over made up)or the few matte options which most promise but don't deliver. When's my skin gonna dry down a bit? 😭😩
I have combination & sensitive skin. Tried both of it and love it but I prefer matte more because it has better oil control on my T-Zone and I only touch up once, sometimes none. Def better coverage compare to original cc.
In all honesty, I really think you hit the nail on the head when you said the matte side falls flat.
It may be more matte and full coverage by the end of the day, but it looks “done” and a little too fake for everyday use. It’s also not as good of a color match (as you noticed from the beginning).
The original side looks more youthful because of the glowing dew. It doesn’t look greasy at all, just more natural and flattering. The only place really needing touch up would be around the nose fold. Considering most of us touch up at least once a day, I think the original is the best option for having the best of both worlds: still enough coverage but in a youthful and natural way.
I’d still hold onto the matte for a night out look, or those extra hot summer days.

LOVE the matte, enjoyed the regular one but same im more oily combo so original doesnt last as well but matte controls my oils well and is deff more coverage and blurring

Trina Durham - question for you - did you use any moisturizer or primer to prep your skin prior to application?
Great video! I agree that matte probably works better for more combo/oily skin. I have normal and more mature (hate that word but it is true] skin so I like the CC cream . I also have the new Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer by IT and I like that a lot especially before heading to the gym. I like to even out my skin tone but I don’t want to use makeup before working out so this is perfect. Also I think the shade selection was slightly better as I purchased Neutral Medium which I think is a better match for me than the CC Medium.

Hi! I just found your channel and I love it =) I can;t wait to watch more of your videos.
I bought the original at Ulta a few days ago. I’ve been very happy with Urban Decay Weightless mixed with CYO, for the past few months. But it is only high-medium coverage. I’m 45, and just started getting much drier skin, so thought I’d try this. I put Drunk Elephant moisturizer on first, then the cream. No primer. So far, so good. I don’t think it lasts as long during the day, but it’s better coverage. My biggest complaint is the smell. Does anyone else hate the smell, or is it my imagination? By the way, enjoying your channel, new subscriber. 😊
Dani P, all of those are natural ingredient formulas that are clean makeup smell like that sort of citrusy and odd. I can tell you that Burt's Bees smells like that & bare Minerals, and several others with a lot of Botanicals in them have that very same smell , but it dissipates very soon after being spread upon the skin.
I think they both look beautiful on you in their own ways. I am 80% finished watching this video but you did not say whether you put blush on and I can't tell. I see you put lipstick and mascara and that made your face look even prettier but to me, blush would be the one deciding factor to help decide which Foundation is suited to your skin better.
SinceR Blush is often the one makeup item that determines how youthful and healthy we look.
So since I don't know about the blush, I can only say that both look very pretty on you and I cannot decide either which is better 4 U, so there you have it they both look great!!🌹🤗

I like the coverage of the original CC Cream but do not like that it transfers to everything you touch even though I set it with loose powder. Is the matte more transfer resistant?

For setting a damp beauty blender is way better as you can actually press it into the skin and it melts without the powdery look
What lipstick are you wearing?! Beautiful pink! I liked the original better on you. I have the original and the luminous and even for having oily skin after 12 hours the luminous looks so amazing on me I get compliments on MY SKIN not my make up, so much so that everyone wants to know what moisturizer I use. I use Smashbox Primerizer and set with Urban Decay all night powder.

A lot of people have good things to say about the born this way concealer from too faced! I have yet to try it but it’s on my list :)

i like original lol i recently got the glow one and i havnt tried it but think id like it cuz the matte version is noticeable that you have foundation on
trina you must try the new NYX foundation! its beautiful and the best part is that it doesnt feel sticky or slippery at all it dries down beautifully ! and it seriously lasts all day . i wish brands would come out with more olive and tanned undertoned foundation shades. I like them both on you for different reasons

I did like the original on you best because your skin looked natural and radiant and from one freckle face to another, I like seeing your natural skin.
Maybe on a laid back day wear the original, if you need to look more polished wear the matte formula.

The struggle is all too real with the IT Cosmetics CC cream I got the shade medium tan its way to orange, ugh. The matte does look flawless on you I definitely like that much better. 😊💗💗

Matte side so far looks better....first couple of minutes of you putting it on. Just read, the matte is non-comedogenic, the original is not. That's what made me check out your video. Finished watching, Matte! Good information, thank you!
They don't look any different to me and the shade looks perfect to me. Not sure what else you want. It looks great and you have amazing skin. eta: I would love to know about that make up application brush though. Where did you get it and what brand is it, etc?

I’ve been looking for this video!! I think I’m going to get the original one.
Tried the original and hated the formula and the couldnt find the matching shade. Tried the matte exactly like u in neutral tan and although my undertone is more neutral, this was too greenish/olive. So I exchanged it for the medium tan. Hopefully that one is better match. It s less neutral but not as yellow/golden. Also it doesnt stay matte beyond fee hours. It s more on thicker side then i would expect from cc cream.

Same situation with my skin however I am using the original version now I am feel a bit oily and summer is coming here in Vancouver so I was thinking maybe The Matte version for the T area and the original for my dry cheeks but I don’t want to spend more money!

I loved your video, i have oily combo skin to and at first i didn't care for it but the more i wear it the more it like it! Works better with a primer but I agree it's not as matte as i thought it would be but still a nice foundation :)

I forgot I got the matte cc cream& the bye bye pores powder in my cabinet I've nvr used them. Girl if u want a bit of glow but prefer the matte put some Clarins beauty flash balm on those high points underneath & u will get that glow but still the benefit of matte. I'm a lil oily in the T zone but nowhere else so I'm gonna try this stuff out, can't believe I forgot about it lol. 😂 ✌

SpaceFiend Yandere as long as you use cleaning water on time, you have it remove it before you wash ur face. Then you will be fine, I’ve been using this for 3 months during the day time, cuz i need sunscreen, then I apply medicine before bed, my acne problems got better.
I like the original as I have super dry skin, the matte one has tea tree in it which my skin hates
