ADCArtAttack honestly, it goes to show how much of a difference quality art products makes from something like crayola colored pencils lol
speaking of crayola, i'd like to see you do crayon art some time! crayons are one of the worst pieces of drawing equipment i've ever used, so i'm curious to see what you can do with them :)

I think Elsa’s fantastic! Spidey’s seen better days, but that’s just because water based markers are crappy no matter who’s using them. But the sketch was awesome!

PinaPerfect Me too! I bought the 120 pack to see if I could make serious art out of them. I couldn’t. I still want to but I don’t know how. It’d be cool to see what ADC can do with them.

  • @artsy_dragon_creations

Even when limited to crappy materials and very few colors you managed to pull off a good piece. Is there anything you can’t draw?
Now if you want to do this again and keep with the kids art supplies theme I would highly suggest Crayola supertips, since they’re a soft sponge tip they don’t tear the paper as much, and they have a crap ton of colors. I use them myself and honestly I think with practice they’re comparable to alcohol markers

I remember a time where I used to love art, and drawing, I was never very good at it... But I tried... But in the end highschool and anytime I ever tried to show my art to anyone they would bash it.... And then that one time the kids that would always disrupt class scribbled on my drawings but then got away with it because they are three and I am one... Even knowing they have been a disturbance throughout the year... That made me quit art... I havent drawn in a long time after that... But even when I do and I try my best and show it to others they just end up bashing it for one resin or another. It came to a point where I just dont draw anymore... And honestly I dont do anything anymore... I dont really see a point in trying....
Though I will say you did wonderful, about a thousand times better then I could hope to do with the supplies that you were using... GG.

I agree with your thoughts about the "education to art" or in general to develop creativity in children; I can't say how it works in other countries, but here in Italy unluckily for us, the educational system is terrible and to inspire young people is the last element the government want to do.

it maybe took great pains, but the look of the drawings just with blue byro outlining looks pretty good. Smooth lines complementing the grey ones of the pencil. It being blue somehow evens things out, while black would just show the next stage in general illustrating. I honestly would make some try-outs & leave them just as they are if it wasn't for a RUclips clip.
This particular drawing I would for myself leaving the hair blank or one color like the front, the eyebrows & slight touch on the eyes like you did & of course clothing. When pausing looks almost a finished art piece. I think i saw artists actually stopping at that point.

Felt tips by putting strong (96 degrees) alcohol inside - and turn them into alcohol markers.
Pencils- by soaking them in water/ mineral spirits/ vaseline.
