Dude, first TAKE YOUR TIME! We aren't going anywhere and will be here waiting for your new content; it makes it that much more(?) special. I was in the Air Force in the past and I understand the difficulties of becoming a manager. The military provides us training for it, but it's completely different when you're actually doing it. Take it slow, you have a good crew who will support you and provide you the guidance you need. Listen to their ideas, be open minded and go from there. Remember, to be a good leader, you have to be a good follower first. Listen to them if they say "whoa, slow down boss", do it. It's a new chapter for you, slow down, breathe and enjoy it. We love you man! We will be here for you.

I think adding the occasional live stream would be a great way to stay “grounded” and possibly be a therapeutic session where Chuck can let his beard down, fire up a pot of Network Chuck coffee and just chat amongst his fellow nerds. Vent if you need, laugh if you need and gain valuable live feedback while at the same time letting the content create itself. Hang in there Chuck…the burnout is real. I started watching you around the beginning of Covid and I don't think there's a single video I've missed since. The energy you convey with the technical material is amazing and infectious. So infectious that I harnessed you as motivation to land a new job in Q4 of 2022. Kept thinking to myself: WWCD - What Would Chuck Do? chuck just be yourself, your awesome. As you move through your journey, we dont always need smart snappy content. Sometimes all thats needed is those little snippets of useful information that saves time in troubleshooting. Such as why something happens and what to check and how to check. simple stuff such as why changing a 'dns entry doesnt seem to happen, without forcing it to propagate due to not clearing cached entries. Tweaks you can make to automatically lower the cahe entries amount and trick them to clear out the entries more often. Little tweaks like that to remove, refresh, update, route caches in switches etc to clearout the old stuff. Take a breath every so often, to enjoy those kids of yours, if you can manage those girls, you can manage your staff. Plans & changes will just take a little longer to eventuate. Small changes lead to big things over time.

I found your channel over half a year ago. My manager wanted me to learn more python (I work in cybersecurity, not so much a dev role) so I was reluctant at first but after finding your videos they actually helped me and I was able to build confidence. I wanted to see more content from you on that platform but this video gives great insight into the background of your life. You have so many things going on. It’s completely understandable. Regardless of how fast you get these out, thank you so much for helping people that have been hesitant on learning to code.

Hi Chuck! I'm a very recent subscriber and you introduced me to so much networking stuff that I've enjoyed playing around in. I even got into VMs and HTB thanks to your videos.
I already had an advanced knowledge on PC repair but then I figure everyone does. But personally, I'd love to see more of your Bash and Python tutorials more. I have so many ideas that I'm trying out.

Honestly dude, this is coming from a longtime fan of yours, taking a step back this year and appreciating everything you have already accomplished, getting back to your roots sort of. The livestreams would be awesome to see, finishing the CCNA playlist and others would be killer - saying that because I found you when I first got started in IT two years ago and those videos, really all of your videos have helped me greatly. You're bring fun back into IT. A space that has been dominated by dried up individuals for a long time. I get you have more and more ambitious goals set for yourself, taking a step back and slowing it down like you did in this video... I think everyone would love that. Peace from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan my friend. congratulations on the kid! I have one on the way!

I really enjoyed this video and congradulate you on all your well deserved success. I can also relate as 2022 was a great but double edged year for me as well. I really fell off of my programming journey. Basically starting over. I'd love to see more videos like this perhaps even monthly. I'd be willing to join some type of subscription model if you are going to be treating it like a full edu course. Building each course out in mouale style. Reguardless to what path you choose I wish you and your family continued success.

Thanks so much for using a multiple camera setup CORRECTLY. Which is to edit the video so you are always looking at the active camera. So many presenters switch to Camera Two but don't look into it. Leaving the viewer watching someone gazing off into space at something unknown. "Hey! I'm over here! Who are you talking to!?" Such a relief.

I've been involved in technology for years, but every day I learn something new, and your channel is a perfect example of where to find knowledge. Please don't stop doing what you're doing, because today such a channel on RUclips is worth its weight in gold, accessible to everyone, professionally edited and the topic explained very clearly and simply. Sip of coffee, keep it up Chuck, don't stop.
