Okay, this isn’t a comprehensive discussion on the genesis of life. We have some insightful explanations how life can spring from non life, “rocks to cells”.
The first plasma membranes were likely made out of chemicals amphiphillic molecules (polarized molecules that can self assemble into enclosed structures in water due to thermodynamics. This helps explain the formation of the early “bodies” for cells.
Genetic material that could also perform chemical reactions (aka make copies of itself) are neatly explained by the RNA world hypothesis, which posits that RNA molecules composed of plentifully available organic building blocks could simultaneously encode information and catalyze early replication reactions. It does a good job explaining how RNA-base systems could have evolved into the more recognizable DNA-RNA-protein pathways we see today in modern cells (the central dogma of molecular biology.
Proximity of these two processes in early Earth oceans kay very well explain the genesis of the first cells. I was hoping for a more informed discussion

Lex always seems to want to mystify things. If something is unknown, he throws the baby out with the bathwater and says it is unknowable. Profoundly anti-scientific. There's some psychological fear of reality and desire for the supernatural, escapism, going on.

its actually really simple, molecules that we haven't been able to observe, we have found micro molecules , the answer is there always was and eventually over trillions of infinite years and space something managed to happen out of it , it really only is unimaginable from our perspective , we are not some special magical creation that shouldnt of happened, we are a product of what the universe is capable of and always has been capable of , the universe is all anything can possibly exist in , literally forever , the universe has been forever theres no real beginning , just reading that is impossible for us to make sense of from our perspective, but saying something outside of the universe created this just says that somewhere else is the infinite no beginning universe so regardless it has to be true somewhere, nothing can be created from nothing thats the thought you have to get away from

Let's not jump too fast to "it's easy to imagine the stuff at the start on Earth." Can you imagine everything in the universe being compressed into, I don't know, a space the size of Manhattan? It's inconceivable. As for life, my mind keeps coming back to the Sun. That must be the engine to all the changes we see. That's where the energy comes from, right?

Yeah the narratives of human influence on pleistocene extinctions also bothered me, and theres too much speculation on how they may have hunted mammoths or other mefa fauna, it was just assumed they did it all if tge time.
However what we do know is that the climate was changing during that time, and similar creatures went extinct at similar rates where there was little to know evidence of human interaction. So i think is yes humans did hunt mamaoths and other creatures, but their impact was grossly over stated.

To me this question points to a directedness of the universe itself and that implies a telos that we are progressing towards in a sort of greedy algorithmic approach. It’s one of the reasons I believe in God, albeit Brahman as described in Hinduism and not a theos like Yahweh or Zeus.
While most creationists are just coping with their religion’s lack of factuality in their creation myths, they do make some good points about just how statistically unlikely it is for all the machinery for the simplest cell to evolve at all. The search space for those molecules is so huge, that even with millions of concurrent experiments happening for millions of years, it’s still kinda long odds.
But if the universe deep down in its game engine has a lookup table for this stuff, well that’s one solution :)

The power of articulate speech is proof of superiority over the "dumb" creation; but on the other hand, it is a perilous gift. The belief is profoundly in silence -- the sign of a perfect equilibrium. Silence is the absolute poise or balance of body, mind, and spirit. The man who preserves his selfhood ever calm and unshaken by the storms of existence -- not a leaf, as it were, astir on the tree; not a ripple upon the surface of shining pool -- his, in the mind of the unlettered sage, is the ideal attitude and conduct of life.
If you ask him: "What is silence?" he will answer: "It is the Great Mystery!" "The holy silence is His voice!" If you ask: "What are the fruits of silence?" he will say: "They are self-control, true courage or endurance, patience, dignity, and reverence. Silence is the cornerstone of character."
"Guard your tongue in youth, and in age you may mature a thought that one day shall be of service to your people!"
