RIP Captain Reyes (2007) and FO Herrara (2021). Legendary pilots.
Oh they are already dead
RIP ... I am disappointed that I only learned of their legendary work this late.
I hope other parts of the Philippines teach their historical contribution.
these amazing pilots deserve as much recognition as sully
They are not white , soo yea.
they're not americans
@@kennethakennetha ain't that the truth
@@kennethakennetha so? What does that matter?
@@louiswendt4371 well he has a point, unless that plane had been completely destroyed by the attack only then would it only get as much recognition as Sully.
I love how other interviews in this series are all solemn but then we got these pilots and it's like they're telling the story over a few beers 😂
That's Filipinos for you 😂
I hate this saying but Filipinos are resilient and happy people. It's so cliche, but it's true.
A bomb exploded and they still managed to butter the landing, respect to these people
How could anyone attempt to kill hundreds of innocent souls like this?! Such a sweet captain and crew. Salute to you heroes and the rest of the crew for their amazing efforts. RIP to the passenger in 26K.
all because of a fucking religion
What makes this even more terrifying was that this bomb was a "test run" for more terroristic attacks, known as the Bojinka Plot. Fortunately, the plans were disrupted, but some elements of the plan were used in the 9/11 attacks.

Sadly both pilot and co-pilot died of illness and natural causes, only the flight engineer lives to this day, and even had a short stint as Air Asia Philippines's CEO.
@@qwl4363 rip to both of them
Good thing that bastard Ramzi Yousef is living his best life for good in the Florence Supermax...
There’s aways relief when they interview the pilot !
Truly great teamwork and piloting.
I think both pilots were previously Philippine Airforce
Not gonna lie, Captain Reyes looks like a fun guy to have drinks with at a Christmas party.
R.I.P. Captain Eduardo Reyes.
What happened?
@@NFL_guy679 Captain Reyes passed away last February 14, 2007.
SALUTE THESE PILOTS! AMAZING WORK CREW
Filipino pilots are one of the greatest in the industry. Can compete head to head (with a good heart + faith in God).
Filipino pilots have always been great. Hard workers and quite responsible.
If I know anything about my mother’s native culture, those pilots still thanked everyone at the exits and maybe even fed them.
Salute to 3 pilots
The heroes pilot Have brave power, we are Proud Filipino to the bravest guys
I love these vids
i have learnt more about plane mechanics in 5 minutes than in class
Salute to the hero pilots 🙌 👏
RIP Captain Ed Reyes
I gotta say that landing is butter
That is a textbook landing for the pilots of Philippines Airline Flight 434 they landed at Naha all the passengers and crew have survived and injured but one died
That landing was buttery. So impressive to land that especially during the pressure of the emergency
How to get more regonization than sully
that wasnt the real landing
it was because it does look Real
@@liamisfillipinoandmore no thats clearly just a clip of a random 747 buttering because when you dont know how damaged your plane is and you can land you just want to put it down, not butter it
THE JOB, FULL OF MENTAL WELLNESS. SALUTE TO THE CAPTAINS AND CREW MEMBERS
I got shocked when it was philippine airline
I was on that plane and I was like oh no we are so done for.
Thank God you got out safely. Glad to hear from you🙏🏽
This was a philipine airlines and i remember this.
Ótimo esse vídeo 😊
Mabuhay 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
i can tell this channel REALLY loves the story of PAL434 lol
Parabéns
I can't imagine the haunting atmosphere in the cabin as the plane preps for an uncertain landing. Those passengers look absolutely traumatized at 2:23. And to think all this horror was caused by one man.
Thats PAL 434!!
The pilots should be as famous as sully
This is like the Filipino version of the sully crash
yeah!
Always the 747
3:30 that was butter 🧈
Piloto tem uma voz bonita
even with the bomb they still buttered it with minimal control
The pilot is trying his best to save his passengers and his precious Boeing 747 airplane from a terrorist bombing
Ronald Sandoval piloting a 747 is a HUGE downgrade considering he flew for the Taelons
Can i use this in my vid
the last plane pilot were save
The landing is butter
Is it a butter landing??
This is definitely coming from Philippines
Is that japan air 123's wing
yes but the plane can also be same
😢
Philippines good
Filipinos are heroes
How do you even met this pilot
I feel bad for that one unfortunate guy who died from that blast.
1:11 captain reyes said ok cge magaling *filipino words
The narration here is EXACTLY the same in Mayday
because it's the exact same show, just with different names for both US and Canada
Is my favourite plane crashes
