Michelangelo is a monster. He produces so much culture, it's insane. This, and the early republic with so many good yellows made up for bronze mines vs iron mines

So, what we learned from the world championship games is: more wonders = more wins ?

Indeed, seven wonders is actually an auto win, but Vlaada wouldn't tell you.

@@CountFab there was another game where someone also got like 6 wonders, and won!!!

Man I thought Martin was in a dominating position after age 1. I usually prefer a more balanced built economy like his over grabbing wonders, kind of have to scratch my head on this result.

I don't think I played a particularly good game or anything, but from memory Genghisip gambles paid off. Michelangelo had a good wonder pool, but with Genghisip board it was a long shot imo. Not one I would take anyway, but Genghisip had some success trying some outside the box lines so what do I know.
Age2 went perfectly for him with early cheap republic, evenly paced wonders, coal showing up on his turn.
Then he played a solid age3 and finished the game.

The bet on Mike/St. Pete's really paid off for Genghisip. Way to turn things around with some aggressive play. I'm rooting for him hard in this tournament! 🟨🟦!!
