    i only have a small thrift store close to me so i very rarely see yarn there, but i've still saved so much money by buying it secondhand!

    that ombre yarn could be Big Twist Ombre or Lion Brand Mandala Ombre...

      Yep I recognize the colors as LB mandala ombré . I have a large stash of this yarn. I bought most of it for around 5$ a cake from Walmart. A cake is 344 yds. I’m obsessed with this yarn. Everything I’ve made, all afghans, oh and a pillow cover or 2, are so soft and squishy, and total eye candy. 😁

    That baby soft yarn might be Mandala brand ombre. You can get it from 6 to 8 bucks
