I love Playa Blanca, the perfect beach resort, hot weather but a continuous warm sea breeze, been many times, Irish bar up the stairs is it still there? , Not too many people make it very relaxing. Great vid makes me want to book again.

Lovely video. I’m thinking about a holiday to Playa Blanca, but could someone please tell me if there are any little bars for a bottle of wine or a couple of drinks? It all looks to be restaurants along the front.
Hi there Linz, I think there may well be lots of little bars in the parallel street behind the promenade and I'm sure the restaurants wouldn't be too expensive with their wine. I hope someone here might know a little more than me though?
Living Walks Ah, thank you, I did wonder if this was the extent of the resort or whether there was more behind. I don’t mind having a drink in a restaurant, it’s just that I know a lot of places don’t like you buying only drinks during busy times. I tend to cater for myself in apartments so I don’t need meals out.

I’ve also got a GoPro Hero 6 Black. Was thinking of getting a Zhiyun gimbal as used here. When I’ve looked on Amazon (UK) at the description it doesn’t mention that it can be used with a GoPro. Is there an adapter that’s needed as well? Thanks.
Hi Spratley216, we’re using a mounting plate (available from Amazon,) but it wasn’t perfect for us and like most people, we’ve had to modify it to get it to work properly. I’d suggest searching RUclips for videos on using a GoPro with these gimbals, or otherwise going for a slightly more expensive gimbal that’s specifically built for the job.
Hi Lee if you kept going for about two more miles in the same direction you would get to Rubicon Palace. This video walks from East to West and stops shortly before the ferry port. From there it’s about another mile to Timafaya Palace then another further mile to Rubicon Palace. It’s quite a long walk which is why Playa Blanca is perfect for running 👍

We've always found it to be pleasantly hot in Dec' and Jan.
Probably low to mid 20c daytime but can be a bit chilly in the evenings so take a fleece or jacket.
