Heard a famous guitarist, can't remember who, say he walked in on Hartman playing with his eyes closed...just goofing off during a soundcheck. It may have Peter from Newsboys...and he said, "There are a lot of people in this world who don't truly know how ferocious a guitarist Bob Hartman is. He is incredible. Elite."
Bob's chops on the first couple Petra albums are super impressive. Later Petra albums had their moments but those early albums had extremely complex guitar work.
I also loved the song Keneniah. I researched the name. I named my 1st son Keneniah, and yes, he plays guitar. He is 16 years old, and yes, he is a fantastic guitar player. Just type in the name, and he should pop up.
Thank God for Bob Hartman, and all the music and lyrics he has written through his career. This man truly rocks for the ROCK!!! The “Unseen power” tour was my first rock experience and I must say Bob was rocking his boots off with the dream team.
