Not related to this game but a note related to 11/5 games. Bad weather here, high winds and storms. I will be getting highlights out but if you see no highlights its due to weather knocking out my power

To everyone questioning why there was a lot of going for it on 4th down instead of kicking field goals, there were wind gusts of up to 40 mph for pretty much the entire game. And Husky Stadium is also notorious for having swirling winds and it's hard to figure out exactly where the wind is going to blow the ball. The weather had a big impact on this game.

Especially early. I could forgive the 4th and 1 the way they were running the ball. That's OK. But the 4th and 3? Take the points. As you point out, you're on the road. And, it's really early and you don't know how it'll play out. Take the points, keep the momentum, build a lead.

Y'all weren't in the stadium, the wind was absolutely a factor. There was one OSU deep pass that was thrown towards the sideline and it got blown back almost to the middle of the field. There was a 20-25 yard difference on kickoffs depending on the direction. They probably could have given it a shot on the second one because the wind was mostly at their back but the horseshoe shape causes a lot of swirling so it's not exactly trivial to just run your kicker out there. And the first one, up 7-0 with UW doing nothing, it's aggressive but you go up 14 in the first, that's huge.

Oregon St. talent on offense is incredible, but defense still has big issues. To gain respect you have to win big games as well as the little ones. With present coach, OS in unable to do this.
