What a fantastic vlog ❤, a cracking day for it, I really want to go and do some hills in other areas than Aberdeenshire, I mean we have amazing hills here just like a wee trip away 😊. So your videos of the types of hills are invaluable so thank you. Looking forward to 2025 with you. Have an ace week, sad to see the snow go from the hills but happy the roads are drivable again. 😊
@@angieshand454 thank you Angie. You definitely have some fabulous hills. Very lucky that the Ochils are my local hills. Excited for this year’s adventures. 👍
Hi Linda, lovely looking conditions up there. Just goes to show you don't need to go too high to get great views. Nice to meet you and your daughter at Beluga Lagoon. ATB Andy
Thanks so much Andy, to be fair the snow made it look a whole lot better! The views are nowhere near as good when no snow. Great to meet you & the boys, it was a fab night. Good luck with your Munros this year. 👍
great to see you again Linda another great video hope you and brona are well iv not been well over christmas had a heart attack on the mend thank you again for the video it have lifted me up again.
Happy New Year to you, Linda, an absolutely first class first video of the year and may there be lots more of them, a very well compiled video wonderful scenery excellent commentary thank you very much for sharing your day with us
Hi Linda, crackin video you certainly got the weather that day , brilliant. I did that same loop coming down at the reservoir in December, loved it. Like you I've finished the Munros and I've now turned my attention to the Donalds ( 24 so far ) 5 on the Ochils so 2 to go. The amount of times I've driven past the Ochils and never given them a moments thought. I'd recommend them to anyone . I'm looking forward to a few wild camps in the Dumfries and Galloway area and grab a few more Donalds. Cheers 🍻
Sounds great Colin, bagging Donald’s isn’t something I’ve considered but much more achievable than the Corbetts. The Ochils are really my playground. A good place get hill fit. I’m thinking of a summit camp in the Ochils, maybe even Innerdownie. Thanks so much for watching. 👍
@LindaOutdoors the Donalds are between the Scottish/English border and Callander . A few of them are Corbets and Fionas aswell. One of the reasons I chose to target the Donalds was they give you an excellent chance to wild/ summit camp. Also I live in East Lothian and enjoy only having 1 or 2 hour drives instead of the 5hr drives to North Munro country. I'm not giving up on the Munros and will definitely be heading north a few times in the summer months, theres a few I'd love to do again . Enjoy your travels and happy hiking 👍
Great wee vid, loved the tail wagging. Ochils are only an hour from where I live, really need to give them more leg work this year, cant be bothered driving long distances these day to be honest. Thanks for the insight.
A lovely winters walk Linda, it looked that clear I bet you could see for miles, Brora seemed to enjoy herself in the snow and Happy New Year to you as well.
Amazing footage of those hills. I done that round to where you stopped and round to Ben she just nov time I think. Done a we video on it. Amazing route and my first time in those hills. Was amazing I can’t wait to get back again and check out the rest of them x
Can I ask if there is a gpx of the full circuit you panned on this day? Been up the ochills lots in the past but didn’t recognise your start point, I have usually started from either tillycoulltry or dollar, used to do dollar, over the hills to glen devon, then back to dollar via the fishery, new subscriber and loving your videos 😊
