- Kuala Lumpur is located in the west of Peninsular Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur enjoys an incredible diversity, expressed through its delicious cuisine, iconic landmarks, and modern skyscrapers mixed with colonial architecture. These are 10 Fun things to do in Kuala Lumpur:
10. Visit The Batu Caves
This series of caves is tucked within a limestone cliff and houses several Hindu temples and statues. The Temple Cave is the main one, sitting at the top of a 272-step rainbow-colored staircase.
9. Discover The Street Food Scene
Thanks to its blend of cultures, Kuala Lumpur offers a wide variety of food. Right in the heart of the city, you can find Jalan Alor, a street of atmospheric hawker stalls and restaurants. It’s a great place to try some local food at affordable prices, with choices of barbecued meats, noodles, fried rice, juices, and desserts.

8. Walk Around KL Forest Eco Park
KL Forest Eco Park is one of the only remaining parts of a tropical rainforest within the city limits, featuring nature trails and canopy walks.
7. Admire The Skyline
To gain a new appreciation of Kuala Lumpur, we recommend taking in the skyline view from above. We visited Vertigo Bar, located at the 59th floor of the Banyan Tree. Alternatively, you can head to SkyBar at Traders Hotel or the KL Tower observation deck.
6. Visit The Petronas Twin Towers
At a whopping 88-stories, these are the tallest twin towers in the world. At the ground level, be sure to check out Suria KLCC, a shopping center with a variety of designer stores, cafés, and restaurants.

5. Party At Changkat Bukit Bintang
Bukit Bintang is the entertainment epicenter and comes alive at night. Changkat, a stretch of bars and restaurants in Bukit Bintang, is a party haven for locals, tourists, and expats.
4. Stroll Around Chinatown
Petaling Street Market is the heart of Chinatown. Other interesting places to visit include the Sin Sze Si Ya Temple and Kwai Chai Hong.
3. Visit The Thean Hao Temple
This six-tiered temple is one of the biggest in all of Southeast Asia, combining elements of Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Located on a hill a bit outside the city center, the temple also provides some fantastic views of Kuala Lumpur.
2. Shop At the Cultural Bazaar (Pasar Seni)
The Cultural Bazaar, formerly known as the Central Market, is an important historic landmark in the city. Today, it’s a popular market for handicrafts, coffee stalls, and all sorts of delicious sweets.
1. Spend Time At KLCC Park
Finally, right next to the Petronas Twin Towers, you can find a beautiful 50-acre KLCC Park with walking trails. Every evening, Lake Symphony hosts a light show here. It only lasts about 10 minutes and usually starts at 8, 9 and 10pm.

Thanks! Glad it was helpful 😊
Amazing and informative video. This gorgeous and supver diverse country deserves similar videos. And your channel deserves more subscribers. Much love ❤
Thanks for the kind words! ☺️ lovely country!
"Jalan Alor" should not be put together with "affordable prices" in one sentence 😅 ...it is extremely overpriced and lacks the "local (Malaysian) taste" but more of the "south east asian" taste. Its a tourist trap where you are paying like RM 5 for 3 pieces of Pisang Goreng where at other local establishements you could easily get RM 1 for 3 or 2 pieces.
What is ur suggestion.. where should someone go to enjoy local cuisine?
@@mdsakibbinshahabuddin7383 In general, authentic with reasonable price:
- Malay cuisine, head to Kampung Baru (walking distance from KLCC via Saloma Link bridge).
- Chinese cuisine, look at Pudu (the old Chinatown).
- Indian cuisine, Brickfields (Little India).
Since Malaysia consists of 3 main ethnic group, Malay cuisine is authentic while some Chinese and Indian cuisine available here are unique to this region/country, which are fusions of local 'influence' to the dish - i.e. you can't get the dish in China or India.
Lookin at your name, I assume that you are a Muslim, so for Chinese cuisine make sure to look for Chinese Muslim restaurants (there are many here), and for Indian, look for Mamak (Indian Muslim) restaurants - there will be no sign indicating its a Mamak so just ask the locals.
@@OvDevilzthank you!
This is so subjective! I don’t mind paying tourist prices on holiday. It probably costs the vendors more to rent in Jalan Alor and it feels approachable for English-speaking tourists so they can get paid a bit more. And the locals wouldn’t buy here if the wait and the price was high 😂I don’t mind paying more in that case!
@@OvDevilzthank you 😊
Watching this video make me want to go to Kuala Lumpur again 😊
Great city! 👍

Súper informative video. Thanks for the upload and tips.
Thanks for watching! ☺️
Nicely done!
You missed out Saloma Bridge , Merdeka118, Jalan Bukit Bintang Kg.Baru, Little India,Tasik Perdana, Tasik Titiwangsa, Old Palace Museum, National Museum, Dataran Merdeka and a day trip to Putrajaya,Kajang satay (the best satay in Malaysia) and Genting Highland
Jalan pudu has more varieties of foods and sells at cheaper prices vs Jalan Alor which is mainly operated by foreigners.
Ahh, thanks for telling this. I'm going to visit Malaysia soon🙏
Yeh they don’t know shit
Awesome list
i did all of the places listed in your video but I can add a few more:
Wilayat Mosque, KL National Mosque, Jamek Mosque, Kl Tower (next to Eco Forest), National Monument, Perdana Botanical Gardens, Bird Park, KL Gallery (right where you are in the video at Merdeka Square), KLCC Aquarium, Little India, Istana Negara (King's Palace) and half day trip to Putrajaya
Thank you!

How was PUTRAJAYA, what are must visits there?
@@leen_lee It was very and modern. I would see the Putra Mosque and the Presendential House close by, Iron Mosque, Putra Bridge and some of the surrounding parks - only need half a day there
@@brothersman524 thanks brother.
Great Video! We just arrived in Kuala Lumpur and will be using your suggestions during the one month we are living here!😊
Enjoy your long stay there!
Hey, could you tell me what interesting activities there is in KL ?
@imeneaitdahmane611 We loved the Batu Caves, China Town, Central Market, we have kids, so there was so much to do with them having activities and play places in every mall with amazing food courts. Also loved the huge street food market on Wednesdays " Pasar Malam"!
@@WorldFamilyExplorers thank you for the suggestions ❤
🤝
👍😃...hope you will try Malaysia's popular Ramly Burger
Need to try it next time!
Thank you for making this great video.
Planning to visit Kuala Lumpur in near future. In which area I should try to find hotel for week long stay?
Thanks for watching! The best area to stay is in the city center itself as you're close to most tourist attractions. Bukit Bintang or around KLCC would also be a good location. However, it's easy to get around KL so any place you like could work. We stayed in KL East and took a Grab to the center every day which worked fine!
BAGUS BANGEt
Thank you! ☺️
Just landed in Malaysia on the most random visit thanks to you I have a plan
Enjoy!!
Since nine years ago with past time I was here
Nice!
Good info, maps etc! (Small thing: why all these tourist-selfies?)

This was so helpful! Im here only for 1 day, so im gonna make the most out of it🙏🏼
Hi, I like your videos, did you need permission to film videos while flying to Malaysia?
Thank you! There currently aren't many drone rules in Malaysia. But you can't fly it in the cities. The drone footage of Kuala Lumpur is stock footage, so we didn't fly there.
i got my passport with me, my gf and her sister ajak me go KL but when i say lets go, i was turned down by them.
turned down by whom?
How can one commute in KL..do you get bike on hire or depend on local transport?
Public transportation and using Grab App to get a ride ☺️ worked out pretty well for us
Where Can I find The link to The interactive map??
We'll be adding it soon! We're a bit behind at the moment
We see you do you now in kuala lumpur ?

Couldn't find the entrance of the park... Is it free ?
KLCC park is free, but KL Forest Eco Park is not! You pay an entrance fee because of the canopy walks.

Except petronas malaysia has nothing to boast . It's dirty too
Kuala lumpur: Kuala Dhaka, and Kuala Chinese not malay
Indon miskin
City Bangladesh atau city rohingya😂😂😂???
Not trying to be negative but I find it super weird that the country requires you to be muslim to be considered Malay, that's fkd up lol
Actually the name of a citizen is Malaysian… and that refers to any of the ethnic groups that lives there (Chinese Malaysian, Indian Malaysian are also Malaysian). The term Malay refers to the ethnic group that lived in Malaysia before other groups arrived
I would not recommend Batu Caves. Crap and smelly.
really...😮
AVOID This City & Country at ALL COST. You will REGRET IT if you Come Here, been Here 3 months and it's been an Utter NIGHTMARE.
Can you explain further
I won't lie it looks like a pretty boring city 😮
NOTHING is as it Seems on these VIDEOS; I came Here 3 months ago and it's been Nothing BUT BAD EXPERIENCES; and a LOT of Shady People; YES, Some Nice People, but also a LOT OF SHADY PEOPLE, and the Businesses Want to CHEAT YOU OFF OF YOUR MONEY for being a TOURIST. Businesses and Airbnb Hosts Are DISGUSTING HERE; they Want to CHEAT YOU & SCAM YOU.
Been here for 2 weeks and I couldn't agree more👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 also why the fuck does EVERYONE stare at you so much here?
You new to Southeast Asia? Lol
Since you say you're in Malaysia & you have a phone, make videos of the shady businesses and people. Until you showed us the evidence, you are the shady one.
