It seems like everything is quite a bit away from the stations? Are there plans to building anything immediately around stations at all? Always hate having to walk far after getting off a train. Makes it easier to just drive.

Other than the stations in Kapolei and university stops, quite a bit are around the other functioning stations.

I would describe this system as "light metro".... absolutely no street running like typical light rail. Also no driver....that's not light rail.
