    Nice boot collection and informative about the conditioning. I recognized the Tecovas by the shaft. The first rattlesnake pair also look wicked! I somehow ended up mainly with Lizard boots. Cheers! Life is Boots...Boots is Life! 🤠

    Great video. Quick question, I have a pair of Lucchese Snakeskin boots that have been in storage for 20 years, never been conditioned, and are very dry. Which would you use…Angelus Exotic Spray Conditioner and Bickmore Exotic? I see both on Amazon but don’t know which one to buy.

      @@dennisgrady3988 if they are that dry I would use bickmore. I find it saturates better. Coat them really well and let them sit for 5 to 10 minutes and let it soak in. Repeat that as many times as needed until they soften up. Also get some regular bick 4 and condition the inside lining and footbeds of the boots cause the entire boot is going to be dry. Unfortunately after 20 years they may not ever come all the way back just because of the time but they should be wearable. Angelus is great for all around care but I don’t like it as much for heavy duty conditioning. Thanks for commenting. God Bless.

    What cowboy boot would you recommend for a beginner?

    • @Realboottalk
      @Realboottalk  15 дней назад

      @@jermainenowels9511 it depends what price range you’re looking at. If you’re looking for under 200 dollars I would go with a used pair in good condition. Nocona, J Chisholm, Larry Mahan, vintage Dan post, vintage Justin’s are all good choices. If you’re looking for a new boot I think Horsepower makes damn good boots for mid 200s and they are owned by the rios of Mercedes family of boots. If you’re willing to spend 250-300 then Hondo boots are an awesome choice and well traditionally made. Thanks for commenting and watching. God Bless

    How is the sizing on the Tecovas compared to Lucchese boots?

    • @Realboottalk
      @Realboottalk  Месяц назад +1

      @@ismaelcalderon2542 Tecovas and Lucchese are almost identical in my opinion. Except that Tecovas are a little more snug over the instep at first. I would recommend the same size in both. That being said both brands have a great return policy as long as you don’t wear them outside and scuff them. Thanks for commenting. God Bless

    How do the square toes fit compared to the cutter toe ?? I just bought a pair of Anderson bean eastern diamondbacks from casa raul and I’m extremely excited for their arrival this week.
    Edit: Have you tried the Scout cleaner or Angelus exotic cleaner ?? If so Which one do you prefer to use on your rattlers ?? I’m worried about discoloration after using either of these brands and reptan

      @@NSDro56 square toe are naturally going to have more side to side toe room. That being said the vertical room or volume of the cutter toe is normally more because of its profile. They are both comfortable and give enough room to not feel too snug if the sizing is right. Anderson bean and the entire Rios family of boots are some of the most comfortable and easy to wear straight out of the box in my opinion. Very generous last. Especially their square toes
