Sorry guys, a little late for today's video, here are your transcripts: docs.google.com/document/d/12bJxBlSCR0SbR-1YFp5kUKMAY3xRQfZsx7jmYGVhIz0/edit?usp=sharing
Use basic words you know to explain your idea, even if it feels imperfect. For example, if you forget "frustrated," you could say "I feel bad because things aren't working."
I started learning English 2 years ago by use google translate every day, and i think that's really help me so my vocab increases every day. But i just realized that i can make a simple sentence but i can't speak it, because i think i use a a wrong way to learn english. Then in this year i started learning English from the beginning again. And i'm glad i know your channel, this can help me to organize what should i learn at the beginning. And until now i still have problems with confidence and pronunciation, thank you!!!
Recently I like listening to podcasts and I found out about this channel I enjoyed listening to your podcasts and I hope to be fluent in English as soon as possible 💛🍀
I love this podcast. And yes, a small step can make a big difference, I believe one day I will become more confident and will not face any stuck when speaking English.
So, thank you so mach for this video. It's full of great informations about being fluent in English. Replying to your example (to write something about your day) I probably would say that It was so long and full of work as ussual. I am a student of hight school in Poland, so I have many things to do - homeworks, learning for next exams, and many activities like these. But that day was so stressful because of my German exam. The teacher had said us that "that one topic will not be on your paper during the test" and today she gave it us. It is like a cheating your own students 😅. At the beggining of each day when I commute to school by public transportation I always listen to English podcasts to improve my listening and writing skills.
The topic you have been discussed today is fascinating. I think I've never heard this type of lesson before. Your explanation also really nice. Thank you sp much for your effort to do this kind of videos. ❤
In advance, I would like to say thank you with the channel about great video. I started learn English from I am student but I can not confidence when speak with native people. I always translate word by word in my mind. So I cannot find anyword to suitable with those actions or those situation at that time. Actually, I tried to learn new word more and more but I cannot improve it also. after watching this video, I feel have a lot of motivation to learn English with your way. It suitable with me I think. Hope your channel create many great video like this video.
Thank you so much for your kind words! we're so glad the video motivated you. Keep practicing, and don’t be too hard on yourself. You’re doing great!👍👍
Yes , but they at some point very equal, maybe writing is more easily than speaking, because there's no damn pronunciation and stressing moments, in writing you are totally free, I guess so, but in speaking you don't have to stop, you have to lie, at some point you have to die for a while
Yes, that is right. I've known many words and grammar structures, but when I chat with my friends I always don't understand what they are saying, or I can't apply what I have learned or remembered to normal communication. I always think they are using some new words or structures that I don't know. But I'm not ever afraid of making mistakes while chatting with English speakers, I always speak English with my roomate everyday.
It’s great that you’re aware of the mind translation trap! try to think directly in English, It takes time, but with practice, your brain will do it more naturally.
Start small and keep it simple, progress might feel slow at first-stick with it! ✊ If you’re struggling to come up with topics, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with this video (ruclips.net/video/z0Dq8bRfqTA/видео.html) where we share 400 everyday topics to inspire you.
