    Finding the right words when i speak, that’s so hard🥲

    • @DailyNativeEnglish
      @DailyNativeEnglish  Месяц назад

      Use basic words you know to explain your idea, even if it feels imperfect. For example, if you forget "frustrated," you could say "I feel bad because things aren't working."

    So, thank you so mach for this video. It's full of great informations about being fluent in English. Replying to your example (to write something about your day) I probably would say that It was so long and full of work as ussual. I am a student of hight school in Poland, so I have many things to do - homeworks, learning for next exams, and many activities like these. But that day was so stressful because of my German exam. The teacher had said us that "that one topic will not be on your paper during the test" and today she gave it us. It is like a cheating your own students 😅. At the beggining of each day when I commute to school by public transportation I always listen to English podcasts to improve my listening and writing skills.

      Yes , but they at some point very equal, maybe writing is more easily than speaking, because there's no damn pronunciation and stressing moments, in writing you are totally free, I guess so, but in speaking you don't have to stop, you have to lie, at some point you have to die for a while

    Yes, that is right. I've known many words and grammar structures, but when I chat with my friends I always don't understand what they are saying, or I can't apply what I have learned or remembered to normal communication. I always think they are using some new words or structures that I don't know. But I'm not ever afraid of making mistakes while chatting with English speakers, I always speak English with my roomate everyday.

      Try using simple words and verb phrases; native speakers don't like to use formal words.🤙

      It’s great that you’re aware of the mind translation trap! try to think directly in English, It takes time, but with practice, your brain will do it more naturally.
