Thanks so much for the video. It was a big help for updating my GA-Z170MX BIOS for GEN 7. It is very said that the motherboard says it is able to support both Gen 6 and 7 but does not go into any detail on how to do it. I was on the verge of getting another motherboard or being stuck with a 300 paperweight.
can i update the h110m gaming motherboard if i load the update on a usb without a 6th gen processor? just got the mother board without knowing better and i got the kabby lake Pentium :( i also heard the second shipment of motherboards already have the kabby lake update. its 2018 so my mother board should be updated when it gets here right ?

hello. i bought gigabyte z170n wifi motherboard and intel core i5 7th gen processor. So, to update bios, could i need to firstly install i5 7th gen processor on motherboard and then update q-flash? That is right? I have no 6th gen processor.
So what ur saying is update the bios before putting in the core i7 7700k

Man, What if I Already update to the 7th generation bios into this 110 chipset (skylake) and still using the 6th generation processor? Is it still possible to operate the windows? Or I can't operate it with the 6th gen?

yes u need to update bios to 7th gen with a 6th gen processor and then insert a 7th gen cpu
I did the same with my Gen 6 to Gen 7 swap. Works great. Tried upgrade while installing the Gen 7 and could not get my BIOS to pull up to flash it. So I flashed it with Gen 6 first the installed Gen 7 Just like this video

ive bought a new motherboard ''G1 SNIPER M7'' (1151) and my processer is ''i5 7500'' 7th gen........ when i try to on the cpu it is continously restarting for every 25seconds........ can update the bios by using the same gen processar..or ive to use 6th gen processer...........???? plz help me....
