Remember a few years ago Van tried to trade Miller because he and captain Horvath didn’t get along. No takers, Miller was regarded as the problem. So Van surprised the whole league by signing Miller long term and trading Horvath soon after. Big mistake
Oddly enough MacDavid had a brutal game and has been off for a week(3-4 games) now (mostly his legs and speed) and Strudwick gives him the relentless player. Shauger was a little off on the whole Nuclear option bit. Knoblauch goes with it when the "first line" isn't going and this year that first line has not been going very often. Snakebitten early in the season for the most part but on most nights they just don't have it. So they bring in Draisatl, especially interesting to boost the line because Draisatl is going and has been going all year. It's not because of the second line it's because of the first line. In fact, I think the Draisatl+Podkolzin pairing has been their best combo this season.

Surgery still postponed so here are some stats. Again, I can't watch the games. What follows is my opinion. Oilers start out slow and Stu lets one in just 1:07 into the game. Bruins add a late first period goal to make it 2-0 then the rest of the scoring is Edmonton. Hyman gets a goal in the 2nd and Connor ties it up with just 2:21 left in the 3rd to take us to OT where Ekholm gets the winner off of a nice pass by Nuge. Leon had his 7th consecutive multi-point night getting his 900th Career point in the process. Tight game that was sloppy in the first 20 by the Oilers then fine for the last 40. Take care all.
9:07 the way you set up and describe this whole situation was just great!
Need the Oilers to help McDavid get a cup. Only Xmas present I want
