This has always been my favorite amv. The first time I watched it was the night before I ended up in a psychiatric ward back in April of 2013 that ended up being a week long stay. It made me cry, and as horrible as that time in my life was, as were two other separate times later on in 2015 and late 2016, I always came back to this amv. It gave me hope that the life I wanted wasn't entirely impossible to have, or to find. I guess I saw the other version of me in the mirror reaching out to me, and I decided to take his hand when she just wasn't able to live the way she did anymore (i'm transgender). And while it's still rough, i'm doing a lot better now in my early twenties compared to my late teens.
Thank you Umika for this, you helped so many.

ashy kuster Congrats on beating depression its so hard sometimes i know. I beat my depression over multiple surgeries that build hit me for life i wanted to be an olympian at 15 the only solace i had was song as such it is my duty to inform you Ash Nennen is back up it helped me partition at 29 saving my mind and faculties but i look back and im proud i hope you are too.🎃
Oh my gosh... How beautiful. I think its supposed to be about people who have been going through hard times and suddenly on the other side of the mirror, their dream comes true and everyone become happy. Whatever, I love this.
I am a man's man and this AMV made me cry.
I love it because people were suffering or have hard time. They broke mirror, then they become be happy. they may not be back to their world. I never see that before I was like wow that is amazing.
The mark of a good amv is taking an anime, and showing its story through a song that highlights its emotion.

The year is 2020 and this song still brings me to tears with its beauty and truth. This video is truly amazing and I am glad I was able to see it all those years ago.
It's to show how on this side of the mirror we're all troubled, we all have problems. But on the other side of the mirror exists a place where we can all escape our problems, and we ourselves can take ourselves there, just as they do in the amv, just as Sakura did.
this amv makes me want to fight against the troubles in this world to makes the dream world-world where is your wish,your dreams come to reality

... Wow. Way cool... I'm just guessing but the theme of this amv, its about the contrast between who we are in reality, and who we wish to be, and how our dreams can keep us going even through the hard times... I don't know maybe I'm over thinking it. Either way I love this amv. Good job. :)

Beautiful and incredibly powerful AMV. These aren't rare, not quite, but they're definitely hard to find...
The sad thing is, sooner or later some idiot is going to hunt down this video, and others like it, and report them. Or report the accounts. Piece by piece, the digital masterpieces of our generation will disappear because a minority thinks it's a crime to make something beautiful at the expense of profit.
I applaud all of you who fight to keep works like this available to the rest of us.

i thought this format of AMV, that tells a story with the clips instead of just a recap of the show, had died out with the rise of FX loaded random pretty clip AMVs. back in the day when all you had was primitive linear editing software or even worse, manual splicing done with multiple VCRs, the only AMVs worth watching told stories that left an impression. i applaud the creator of this video for managing to do that.
I have just realized, that their reflections are different but look alike (sounds dumb I know.) Like honestly look how alike the twins are at 3:02 to Chi and her sis! what talent god I love it! seriously I Just noticed that. super cool!

Best moment was Haruhi finding out she has some incurable disease, falling deeper into her escapism of believing that aliens, espers and time-travelers exist. 9/10 would laugh again.

Amazing editing skills, even though i recognised where each scene was from, it still makes it look as if it was all one anime... insane!! in a good way ofcourse ;)
Good choice in making the tumbail an image of Inori, although many criticized the anime it was still a fact that Inori was cute after all.

Clamp (The artists) made the series Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicals with multiple crossover characters from their previous works. Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura was used as a crossover character for Princess Sakura in Tsubasa. Same with Syaoran. Tsubasa is a pretty deep series too. Suggest you check it out.
